I am a veteran gamer hailing from the insignificant little country we like to call the Netherlands. I am also a part-time otaku, and full-time lover of wackiness. Until a few years ago, I have been completely console-deprived all my life, thus the lion's share of my gaming experience is with PC games. Nowadays, I also have a Nintendo DS & Wii.
My tastes in gaming tend to steer away from mainstream somewhat and more towards the obscure, though a game of a caliber like the Half-Life series gets me excited all the same. As far as genres are concerned I prefer anything action oriented, particularly FPS, and adventure (though lately I find myself having little patience for them).
Finally, a small selection of some favorite games of mine:
-Half-Life series
-Legacy of Kain series
-Full Throttle
-Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers
-Beyond Good & Evil
-The Neverhood
And many, MANY others.
