I think the point he was making was that it was in the same vein like Diablo, it is addictive, fun, has many similar characteristics to Diablo. Sure, it may not have the staying power but it is SIMILAR to it. That's what I thnk he is trying to say, that it is as close a Diablo as the FPS genre is going to get.

Blue-Spike shell perk - After a 7 kill streak, if you are not in first place, you get a blue-spikey shell. Upon use of the spikey shell it flies out around the other opponents until it reaches the opponenet in 1st, and destroys him/her. Much like that of Mario Kart.

I'm getting more and more interested in Bioshock 2 on a story level. It seems they are trying to twist what we know about Rapture around. Whereas the previous game was all about no religion, no ultimate morality, no government. We now have the opposite. Government (This communist leader), and God. It's not just the idea of religion vs. atheism. It's more what you do with it, and obviously the people in Rapture do it all wrong. Seems like a cautionary tale for fundamentalism?

I hope they iron these issues out. But more importantly, I hope we eventually see Keith Courage on the Virtual Console. I friggin' loved that game, and it's like none of the people in charge care about it one bit.

I saw the review on GameTrailers and I don't think I could bring myself to buy this on anything but the PC.

Black Friday deals are only good for people who's time is worthless. There's no way in hell I'd stand in line for hours before the store opens to save $20.00 on a video game. I'd rather just waltz in on my own time and pay full price than have to deal with the crowds and other nonsense associated with Black Friday. No thanks.

If a publisher finds a store that blatantly breaks street date, they can withhold any and all future products far beyond street date from them or ban them altogether. Say for example using Modern Warfare 2: street date's Tuesday--but Activision can withhold the game from them for eight weeks, killing all but any chance of making a decent profit and letting competitors mop up. They don't f*ck around with this kind of thing--they lay the smack down on those that don't comply.

It's nice that they're putting so much effort into tying the movie and the game together, but I just can't bring myself to care enough about either.

Good for Activision. Just because they have a ton of money doesn't give people the right to pirate their stuff any more than any other stuff.

That's simple Hcapt. You buy the Natal sensor bar (or whatever), pirate the game, and play it. If Natal causes any complications with pirated games then pirates will simply fix it.

I would never steal, that's pretty risky and stupid. But, I will pirate until the day gaming dies. Especially something as mediocre as MW2.

Prince of Persia would have been fine if they would have at least attempted to cast a decent Prince. I'm actually looking forward to Tekken, hopefully it's just as cheesy and ludicrous as the Dead or Alive movie was.

Entirely irrelevant. You've missed the point entirely.

Valve can still be Valve WITHOUT the unnecessary attacks on the Playstation 3, simply because it's not a PC clone. They don't have the resources capable of making a PS3 game, so instead of admitting that they simply don't have the technology or time, they simply dismiss the console like it's a waste of everyone's time, even though it absolutely isn't.

There is all this genuine hate towards the PS3 without any legitimate or credible reason whatsoever. Valve haven't even worked with the PS3 and yet they think they know that there is no redeeming quality with the system.

There is a term used for people who ignorantly spout bullshit about another console for seemingly no reason. That term is of course 'fanboy'. Which is exactly what Gabe, Chet, and Doug have made Valve look like: childish, ignorant fanboys; incapable of any logical or intelligent thought.
