Sold. That was the best teaser ever.

As much as I would love to blame gaming developers for mindless, self absorbing games that are cringe-worthy yet attain high scores (God of War and Gears of War, both of which you mentioned), it mostly has to do with the gamers. Apparently, the vast majority of us WANTS another Halo game that sucks my ever expanding butt hairs. That is okay with me, as long as some developers cater to my needs as well, which are thoughtful, meaningful AND fun games.
Actualy I'm not okay with shitty games.

Snowpocalypse here in New Jersey, the sequel. It's crazy that 2 days after we get 2 feet of snow, and the roads

I can see what you are getting at Tom. i thoroughly loved this game and the characters, but overall, it was a weird situation Bioware created. The characters were all interesting and cool to the individual, but none of them really made any difference in the overall arch of the story. No one character was needed aside from shepard, Tali could have not existed and therefore she is irrelevant in the big picture.

I mean, i loved the ability to have any character die, but 5the structure of it is a little simple, just a loyalty mission and the upgrades, and being a good leader means 100% survival.and the thing is none of those deaths really change anything,i would have wished Bioware could have created at least some relevance to the plot which would change depending on a characters loyalty or even existence ( ie. Maybe pissing Grunt off means you miss out on information taht helps you in a story plot, which creates a conflict and hard choice.) Im not saying they should do what Me 1 did, i hated that, choosing for the sake of choosing, and it still having no plot relevance, but a happy medium could be attained. I feel Mass Effect 2 is receiving a little early praise on their narrative and system of story telling then should be warranted at this point, although id love to be proven wrong.

That's impressive stuff, no surprise I lost so quickly! All those matches were great, but Leona vs Ryo in Wry vs Senisan match 2 had my favorite ending. I can't wait for the next tournament though, hopefully I'll have a bit more KoF experience by then...

People need to relax and enjoy the game, when the time comes. If, indeed, it is enjoyable. If not, then complain. But to complain now and start online petitions is a bit absurd. Fact is, people are going to complain, plain and simple. And petitions aren't anything new.
Do I like Sonic's retro look? Yes. Do I like his new style? Sure. I, for one, can't wait for the game! Bring it on, SEGA!

it depends on the way i'm playing. if i'm sucking ass, then you won't hear anything but, "WHAT THE FUCK???" "COME OOOOOON" "THATS FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!", and things like that. but if i'm kicking ass, then i am going to add so much insult to injury, that sensitive people will leave the game. but, the cooler headed people with a sense of humor are able to retort, and then it becomes something fantastic. and when your done you have like eight new friend invites. thats the shit!!

While I'm not going to 'shit all over' the game, I refuse to be optimistic. I'll just disregard it until it comes out. If the reviews sound promising, then I will likely buy it. I do love classic Sonic, and that looks like what we're going to get, but I still feel the need to stay detached.

Guess what? The original Deus Ex is one of my favorite games of all time, and I still loved Invisible War. And to all those multitudes who say it was dumbed down tripe, I say this: you have forgotten what made the original game great. Hint: it wasn't having different ammo types or being able to allocate points to skills (half of which were useless anyway). Also, I'll fight you.

Anyway, I hope that this new one will be as great as the series deserves, and hope that it will hit the 360, because I want to play it, damn it. I bought the original game the week it came out and it's been one of my favorites since then. Should I be denied playing the new one because I'm a Mac user and can't presently afford to buy a new computer for just one game?

This is a pretty great debate in here, but I feel it's digressed into whether Fable II is good, and whether that makes Molyneux a good designer or not.

I was DEFINITELY caught up in the "Project Ego" hype. The hype for that game was outrageous, moreso than any other game I've heard talk for. When it came out I was disappointed that it didn't reflect what Molyneux said. But, I still enjoyed it, and I learned from my mistake of taking what a dev says about a game without a grain of salt.

So I moved on, and was wary of what he said. However, I don't believe it can be denied that he has made some good games. So, as a designer, he is a good guy. As a PR person, not so much.

Because of his ridiculous claims in the past, I simply won't buy one of his games until heavily researching it first, so he just ended up hurting himself. But I love his ambition and his desire to create what seems impossible. Somebody needs to be aiming high, or else things will get really stagnant, really fast. He just needs to hype less.
