  Who cares? I mean, sure, it does suck to withhold content if it is done and especially on the disc, yes. But I personally don't mind as I feel I got my $60 worth already. Sure the single player is short, but I know I will play through it at least 2 more times. Plus I haven't even touched the spec-ops yet. Most importantly, I already logged on about a day and a half TOTAL hours of multiplayer. And I am sure I will triple that before wanting new content.
  
  So if you want to break it down in the classic "time:money" ratio, I figure I am paying about $1.15 per hour so far. And that number will drop significantly in the coming months. Not to mention I got $20 gift card from amazon with it (that I am guaranteed to spend) so in reality I paid $40, dropping the price even further.
  
  Bottom line is, I got my money's worth and then some. Especially compared to a LOT of other games out there at the same price point.
  
  I will gladly support the game's future DLC even if it is on the disc. It just hopefully means less download time when the time comes. ... view replies

  I really hate to be a spoiled graphics whore... but I can't help to think, especially looking at how beautiful the game looks already, that these latest Atlus releases would be so much better on the newer systems.
  
  Again, yes, a lot of new games have spoiled me, but that does not mean I can't appreciate a good game regardless. I can always go back to the "classics" and be fine with them. But trying to get into a new game with washed out, pixelated graphics is a lot harder for me these days.

  You completely spun the entire article. You took one statement out of context and made it seem like Sony was being a big baby about it all. 'Wah, competition sucks'.
  
  What I got out of the article was that they were happy with the sales and that they are "honored" that it is doing well in a sea of cookie-cutter IP. Stating that yes, it may have sold well at a different time when you didn't have Gears "2" or Fallout "3" or even Resistance "2", highly established franchised games all releasing at the same time.
  
  They state that it makes it tough to compete, obviously, but they definitely didn't seem to be saying in any way whatsoever 'damn those other games for existing'. They seem happy that it is doing so well IN SPITE of those games releasing at the same time. ... view replies

  You got me curious. Currently the Xbox 360 120GBHD retails for $149.99. There are at least 5 laptop 120GBHD's at about $50 on newegg right now. Plus quite a few 120-200GB external drives at about $60 each.

  While I commend MS for extending some help, they really had no other choice in the matter. Is the 'experience' gonna be a required download to be on live? Can you imagine them forcing millions of people to upgrade their systems to run a new interface?
  
  On top of that, again, yes, this is a great deal that is coming out of their pockets so to speak, but don't act like they haven't been raping customers from the start with that extremely overpriced proprietary HD.   All I was pointing out is that the entry could have used a bit of tact. He could have easily just posted the story and maybe made a little comment at the end about how he responsible for sucking up the SH movie, in his opinion. To start out with wishing death and what not over the movie and then go on to post someone actually died is just a very fucking shallow thing to do. You want to talk about natural selection? I was only pointing out that it is a tragedy none the less and some tool is happy over it because of something as petty as ruining his little movie.

  They left out a few just to be asses... There are more than 10 exclusive titles worth playing at this very moment. Folklore is decent (playing through it right now), but I guess that isn't Screw Attack's cup o' tea (but Superman 2 is? heh heh heh...).
  
  Eye of Judgment is also out now (though not for me, still is a pretty cool idea) and Drake's is next week.
  
  Anyway, they have a good amount of exclusives worth playing and the list will grow and grow. God of War 3, MGS4, FF13, White Knight Story, Unreal Tournament, LittleBigPlanet, Haze, Time Crisis 4 and Valkyrie of the Battlefield just to name a few. Not to mention all the original PSN content coming out as well.
  
  I really never ever get into to the 'console war' debate as I find it just fucking STUPID. But I felt like posting today as this video all but reminded me that the best is yet to come. ... view replies

  I live in the US. My first Premium XBOX red ringed and I gave it to my friend (who got it fixed with MS's extended warrenty last year). I kept the HDD and bought a core system and that broke. I sent it in and have had it for 2 months now and it has not died yet, but all the warning signs are there. The interface (such as friends list) freezes and tons of my games are getting disc read errors so much so that I am basically stuck playing Live games.
  
  I am afraid it is going to brick again... I don't want to put up with having to send it back again. I love the system but it is pretty much bullshit. Waiting for a class action lawsuit ;) ... view replies
