It's Thanksgiving week and that means next to nothing is coming to retail this week. In fact, the hot stuff is mostly digital titles. We brought you an early review of Bit.Trip Void for WiiWare and we thought it was a pretty good game.
Other than that, Madden NFL Arcade looks like it could be fun. What's looking sw33t to all of you? Hit the break for the full list of releases and some trailers.

New Super Mario Bros. Wiihit store shelves this past Sunday. At first, I was completely against the new Mario game based on my feelings towards New Super Mario Bros. for the DS. It's up there with Super Mario Sunshine as one of the worst Mario games to me. But, after seeing the latest videos and reading our review, it looks like the new Mario game will be pretty great!

Two other Call of Duty titles are coming to the Wii and DS, along with a couple of new Dragon Ball Z games, a couple of new Harvest Moon titles hit and as usual, a bunch of shovelware garbage lands on the Wii and DS too.

"Fuck. I just bought Shaun white snowboarding at budget price.
In the winter, Mr. Socks turns into a snowboarding, and snowboarding game, whore.
You could say i'm for the Big Air Edition. HOHOHOH..."...
This week's major release is Dragon Age: Originsfor the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. It's the latest and greatest from Bioware and takes gamers to the past rather than the future. Oh, and it's going to let Brad Nicholson ride dragons ... I think.
Speaking of the future, a couple of new Star Wars games are out. Well, actually, they're both re-releases in a way. Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron makes the jump to the PSP and DS and Star Wars The Force Unleashed is getting re-released with new additions on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Activision and Warner Bros. are going head-to-head again with the release of Band Hero and Lego Rock Band. And rounding out the releases are a handful of games from Ubisoft which includes Rabbids Go Home.
Plenty to choose from this week, Dtoiders! What's looking sw33t to you? Hit the break for the full release schedule, trailers and preview links for most of the games.
The second expansion to Grand Theft Auto IV is out this week and it's hitting two fronts. The Ballad of Gay Tony will available for download and both downloadable episodes will also be for sale on a physical disc at retail stores. I'm looking forward to the new episode, but will wait until it eventually goes on sale.
Other big titles out this week include the rhythm gameDJ HeroandForza Motorsport 3, which we gave a 10/10 to in our review.
What's looking sw33t to all of you? Hit the break for the full breakdown and videos for most of the titles. Also, look at all of that shovelware garbage. Goddamn.
Not much in major releases this week, which is a good thing as last week was jammed packed full of goodness. It's also especially a good thing for Borderlands as it has no real competition this week, as far as action games go.
Otherwise, WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 and FIFA Soccer 10 are a couple of biggies this week too. They always do well in sales, even if not much has changed from the previous years. Sports games!
What's looking sw33t to you all? The full list of releases and trailers for some of the games await you after the break.
"BORDERLANDS was one of the best games I played @ PAX this year.. I played on a souped up PC but the 360 vers should be damn near as good I'm hoping. Bayonetta was the other MUST for me from PAX ..."...
This week sees a ton of major releases for all three major consoles. The one that's been getting the most attention is the PlayStation 3 exclusive, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Reviews have been between 9s and 10s in most places so far and it's looking like Uncharted 2 will be a strong contender for game of the year.
Double Fine's much anticipated Brutal Legend is finally out this week for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. There was a point many feared this game would never see the light of day, but the time has finally come for us to rock the f**k out.
Rounding out the major releases is the Wii exclusive A Boy and His Blob. The game is ridiculous cute, extremely gorgeous and should please fans of the old classic.
Plenty more games are out this week, and a good portion of them are actually good! Hit the break for the full breakdown of new games. What's looking sw33t to all of you?
The must get for this week is easily Critter Crunch for the PSN. It looks absolutely adorable and it's going to be so cheap! You can pick it up this Thursday and we should have the review for you within the next couple of days.
Other than that, not much else I'm looking forward to from this week's releases. What about you? What's looking sw33t to you all? Hit the break for the full list of releases and trailers for most of the games.
If there is one thing I can always have more of (and there isn't, there are many things) it's more LittleBigPlanet. I don't own a PSP though, so more LBP is not coming my way any time soon. For those of you who do own a PSP or possibly one of those new fangled PSPgos (PSPgoes?) there is now an official date for the game's release. That day is... wait for it... wait for it... Nov. 17. That's about as far as I can drag this out.
However, thanks to Hamza "I Change Boring Pictures" Aziz's recent editorial change of a previous post I've decided to make this post as exciting as possible with a totally unrelated image of Obama punching a zombie in the face. How's that? Exciting enough for you? Bet you didn't know the President could kill zombies with his bare hands. Since I know you're going to ask and we like to source our awesome images, it's by Tina Seamonster. She makes with the awesome.
Lots of good picks for this week, folks! Critter Crunchis a must get, Dead Space Extraction looks to be fun and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for the PlayStation 3 is a no brainer. It has six-axis boob jiggling technology!
Other big titles include two for the handhelds. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for the DS and Gran Turismo for the PSP. In fact, the PSP is getting quite a few good games this week. About time, right?

"Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Video was the saddest thing I've ever seen. Of course guys want to see boobs, duh. But do you want to play games or whack off to games?"...
I like the late night Sunday post because it means that i know one of my stories is going to be seen on Monday morning when everyone gets to work and immeadiatley starts not doing work by reading Destructoid. Thus I am wont to save something extra special for the slot on some occasions and I can't think of a more deserving subject than Machinarium. Above we have a brief new trailer for the beautiful point-and-click puzzle/adventure game and below we have some new concept artwork. We've also been informed that the digital release date for the game is going to be Oct. 16.
In case you've missed our previous coverage of what looks to be one of the best looking games of the year Machinarium is from the creators of Samorost and Samorost 2, so you know the high quality pedigree is there. On top of that it stars a robot and features an amazingly unique animated look to it. Even more on top of that Chad "Loves awesome things" Concelmo loves the game. There's a demo level floating around out there somewhere that I've played, but I'm having trouble finding it. Maybe I just dreamed it. After all, what are dreams made of but wonderfully illustrated puzzle/adventure games?
This week's biggest title is obviously Where's Waldo? The Fantastic Journey. HAH! No. It's Halo 3: ODST for the Xbox 360. The new Halo offers up a lot of new stuff, but is it worth the price? Check out my review from this past weekend to find out!

The long delayed, often thought dead Final Fantasy Crystal Chronciles: The Crystal Bearers finally has a US release date. In what will surely be remembered as one of the most clever, or the most stupid ideas for a holiday game release in the history of holiday game releases, Square-Enix has decided to put the game out on December 26, 2009. A first-day-of-Kwanzaa release date has rarely been pulled off with much success, but given how many attractive looking Wii games are coming out between now and January, it sort of makes sense. We've got Silent Hill, Dead Space, Ju-On, Resident Evil, A Boy and His Blob, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii all coming out before December, then No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle coming in January.
Still, December 26? The day after Christmas? Wouldn't the day before Christmas be safer, or maybe the week before? Ah well, best of luck to 'em. I know I'll be buying the game regardless of when it's released.
This week is jam-packed full of goodness! Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Scribblenauts and WET all are on my must-get for this week. I love the Mario & Luigi series, I've heard nothing but good things about Scribblenauts and WET is everything Stranglehold should have been.
Hockey fans have their regular battle this week with NHL 2K10 and NHL 10. Which one is better?
