For the ones of people that requested it, here is The Loop segment from last night’s Attack of the Show that I was a guest on. I can’t really tell you how I think I did, as I only watched this once before curling up into a ball in my shower, cilice at the ready, ashamed of how I look like a reject from some failed late ‘90s boy band. Tearin’ up my heart, indeed. I do want to thank the people at G4 for being amazing, as usual. A lot of them are huge fans of Destructoid and that makes me very happy (especially Kevin, the host, who unexpectedly brought up my Colette pirate ship tattoo). If you guys are reading this, I really appreciate the opportunity. Enjoy the video. I have to go make myself a sandwich because I know my mother is going to call me any minute telling me I have to eat something. [Thanks again for the embed code, Dan]

The fine folks at G4, obviously still in a champagne induced hangover, asked me to be a guest on Attack of the Show tonight. I guess those cookies I baked for everyone after my last appearance paid off. Sweet! You can check out all the verbal pizzazz tonight at 7:00 p.m. EST when I will tackle some 2008 predictions in a desperate attempt to make Destructoid proud (I love you guys!). Any suggestions on something to make my appearance more memorable? To save you the typing, yes, I am going to reveal my new chest tattoo of Colette captaining a pirate ship live in front of millions of viewers. Note to self: Wear a buttoned shirt.

I came, I saw, I con … spiracy theoried? My debut on Attack of the Show has arrived and, as expected, I came off like a raving lunatic. All part of my plan, you see. My plan that will continue to unfold in my dark closet where I cross out the eyes of presidents with a red Sharpie, crying like an unloved baby while smearing my naked body in peanut butter and reciting ancient Masonic rites. What on earth am I talking about? Just watch the clip above. I would like to retract one small error. You know, the egregious one about Abraham Lincoln's political career. Just goes to show, you can't always trust the research you read off of Wikipedia ten minutes before you stumble into the studio, high as a kite off of a wicked Diphenhydramine and Kolikodol cocktail. And you heard me right, Destructoid selected Stephen Colbert as the presidential candidate that best represents our political pursuit of happiness through interactive entertainment. Although his application was denied yesterday by the South Carolina Democratic party, we're hoping he'll pick himself up by the bootstraps and soldier on. You know us, we love an underdog. We also talked about videogames on the program, but who cares about those? If G4 ever invites me back, it'll be on the odd day when they need "wacky guy" filler. I'll be happy to oblige. Before I get put out to pasture, did I ever mention I love everyone here at Destructoid? From the dedicated Community Bloggers on up to our amazing staff. And God. And Jesus. And the Bible.

G4TV's Attack of the Show asked me to stop by as a guest on their Week In Review taping this evening. Apparently, our lovely Chad and Colette couldn't make an appearance because the craft services table at G4 hasn't been up to snuff lately. Chad's incessant demands for an entire ice cooler devoted to mackerel for his pet dolphin didn't ingratiate him to anyone. Colette pitched a temper tantrum when a lowly production assistant spilled her bag of Chocobo greens in the parking lot. Can you really blame them for holding such high standards? While I am nowhere near as cuddly, charming or intelligent as our awesome cohorts, I do love the Destructoid community with a passion. I will do my best to avoid embarrassing you for knowing me. You can catch me at 7 p.m. ET, Friday evening, where we'll talk about Destructoid's love for Stephen Colbert and our mutual hatred of bears. I can't promise you I'll remember to comb my hair, zip my fly and wipe the Kool-Aid stain off my lips before I stagger into the studio in an opiate induced haze. I do promise, however, to click my heels and think about my Dtoid pals while I publicly pontificate. Any last minute words of advice?

You know how when you hear your own voice on a recording you instantly are embarrassed and can’t believe you talk like that? Well, multiply that feeling by about a thousand and you will know how I feel right now. But, to be fair to my cute aunt who doesn’t have cable (but has access to the Internet, apparently), you can watch my appearance on Attack of the Show above. Without getting too sappy, I will say that Destructoid has pretty much changed my life. I wouldn’t be the happy, dolphin-loving chap I am today if it wasn’t for all you guys. Each and every writer, designer, contributor, and community member is pretty much amazing (to say the least). Sorry, I just had to get it out. I am very emotional right now, okay? And, yes, you can’t see it, but I am hugging my computer monitor. Hold me, Dell Model #7650 … hold me ... [Thanks to G4 and Dan for the video]

Finished BioShock already? Is your beloved Ghost Whisperer a rerun? Depressed about not going to PAX? Well, turn that frown upside down and check me out tonight on Attack of the Show as a panelist on The Loop! Granted, I am not as cute as Colette nor nearly as debonair as Nick Chester, but I am representing Destructoid and that’s all that matters, right? The good news: I taped the show last night so I already know how it went. The bad news: there is still ample time for the editors to make me look like an idiot. Let’s hope all the cookies I baked for the cast and crew pay off. My topics of discussion: - Paramount and HD-DVD exclusivity: Transformers sequel affected?
- Youtube’s new ads a turn off (sneak preview: YES!)?
- BioShock troubles: widescreen issues/PC version can only install twice
- Dolphins: the noble princes of the sea?
I must say that everyone on the show was unbelievably cool and I had a great time. But, honestly, all I cared about was making Destructoid proud … hopefully I accomplished my task and didn’t embarrass the robot too much. If you want to collect a bunch of ammunition for making fun of me, check out Attack of the Show tonight (Friday) at 7:00 p.m. EST on G4!

Likely you already checked the video out on the Community Blog of the remarkable Electro Lemon, but if not, here's me attacking the hell out of The Loop. It was hard not to do an interpretive dance to express how I felt about Halo 3's top ranking preorder status, but lucky for Kevin Pereira he's quick to the draw on those questions, so there was no such performance. Seriously though, I had a great time and hope I made my Dtoid family proud. Long live the Robot!

I don't watch TV, but even I'd tune in to Attack of the Show tonight to check me out. Of course, I'll be there doing the show so I can't, but you guys can do it for me and I'll live vicariously through you. None of that sentence really makes much sense, does it? Anyway, the show airs at 7pm ET/PT and the topics of discussion are Halo 3's preorder madness, the 360 price cut, what 300 has done for Blu-ray popularity, and upcoming Neil Gaiman film Stardust. I am the only gaming personality on the show tonight, so wave your pom poms at home for me while I'm making the Toid' look bigger and better than ever. I can't decide whether or not I should mention my adventures with Workman and Chad last night at the luxurious Roosevelt hotel in Hollywood. You can't say double ended black dildo on live TV, right?

Olivia Munn is good for Men's Health, especially when she's frolicking around in a bikini. The better (looking) half of G4's Attack of the Show's host team (sorry, no offense Kevin P.) did a photo shoot for Men's Health magazine, and we'll come out and say that just about any healthy man will enjoy these pictures. Olivia Munn posed on a beach in black and white swim wear (take your pick!), looking absolutely lovely, and nothing like a host for a nerdy game and internet culture show. We're truly fascinated by her duality. It's funny: just a few days ago, Olivia was telling viewers to look at our web page, and now we're telling readers to look at her pictures on Egotastic! It's neat how that kind of thing works. [thanks Tsalagi]

G4TV's Attack of the Show is ramping up for their coverage of the 2007 E3 Media Summit much like the rest of the industry is today. Last night, their Blog Watch segment was focused on the best blogs that they recommend for keeping up with the latest in E3 news, and they featured our lovely web site in their lineup of sites to keep an eye on during these crazy times. During the segment, Kevin Pereira states that "there's no denying how big this blog has become," and we couldn't have said it better. We've blown up, and its all thanks to our loyal robot army and industry friends. We hope you'll take AOTS's advice and stick with us through the E3 Media Summit. It's going to be a crazy ride, but our team of robots are already in place, ready to bring you all the news from the event.

...and from time to time I have the luck of meeting some great people in the industry. Aside from my chance meeting with Jesus at a bar in Denver, Zach Selwyn is one of the nicest people I have met yet. We got a chance to hang out with him in Austin at SXSW and from what I remember... well, from the pictures, it looked like a blast. A special Dtoid happy birthday goes out to him today. More on Zach after the jump...

OK boys and girls, here's Destructoid's latest appearance on G4's Attack of the Show. I took on the Loop and did I win? I have no idea. Why don't you tell me? Please. Pretty please with a cherry on top?

As you can probably tell by our updated banner above, I will be representing Destructoid tonight on G4's Attack of the Show. We filmed the segment last night (I battled massive traffic to get there) and the show will air tonight. What did I do? I took a spin on The Loop again. This time, though, it was for their weekly round-up. So, tune in tonight at 7 Eastern to watch Destructoid represent you.

If you were ever curious as to how MMOs keep popping up every three months, then here's a real glimpse into just how it all goes down. Keep in mind, this is real hidden camera stuff that only, up until now, industry insiders got to see. Oh the inner workings of the gaming industry, how we love thee. Yeah, the MMO genre is a watered down mess. I said it.
