Two fantastic PlayStation One era games are available on the PlayStation Network Store this week. Resident Evil 2 and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver are both up for grabs for the low price $5.99 each.
Resident Evil 2 is the best Resident Evil game right after Resident Evil 4. The story, the atmosphere, the G-Virus creatures -- the game was a thing of beauty. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is also good, but the game was so confusing to play. I just remember having an extremely hard time trying to get through the game when it originally came out. Maybe it's time to give it another go, though.
Any of you planning on picking either of these up?
""best Resident Evil game right after *Resident Evil 4*". wha- "Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver... remember having an extremely hard time trying to get through the game" oh, that explains something"...
Earlier this week, we got an e-mail about Mass: We Pray, a Wii-like game where you Church at home. The Web site and video for the "game" was pretty outrageous, and pretty much bordered on heresy. Well it turns out the whole thing was a viral for the Heretic section in Dante's Inferno!
Reader patty n. went back to the Mass: We Pray Web site today to see if the pre-order link would work. Instead, patty got the above trailer showing off the Herectic level. After the trailer finishes playing on the Mass site, a link comes up for you to damn your friends on Facebook with this app. It's neat in a "I have five minutes to kill" kind of way, I guess.
Wal-Mart's big attractions for Black Friday shoppers are easily their console bundles. They'll have a Wii bundle that comes with Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympics, one other game and an extra set of Nyko controllers for $249.00. This deal will only be on Wal-Mart's Web site Their PS3 Slim deal will come with inFamous, Batman: Arkham Asylum and The Dark Knight on Blu-ray. This bundle will be $299, the same price the 120GB PS3 Slims go for by themselves. As for their Xbox 360 deal, well it's going to be perfect for the kids. For $199, you'll get the Xbox 360 Arcade with Madagascar 2 the game and the first two Madagascar movies on DVD.
Other awesome deals include Nintendo DS Lite for $98, Rock Band Special Edition for $50 (comes with drums, mic and guitar) and over 100 titles starting at $7. Check out the rest of Wal-Mart's deals over on Black Friday info. Anyone hitting up Wal-Mart for a PS3?

Welcome to another 24 hour contest! This time, we're giving away For the Glory - A Europa Universalis Game for the PC. For the Glory is a historical real time strategy game that spans from the years 1419 to 1819. Build up troops, take over countires -- do to the world what you will. Plus, the game was developed by a team within the Paradox fan community. Neat! You can get more info on the 32-player game after the break.
To win one of the five codes we're offering, you just simply need to leave a comment saying "Give me For the Glory!" You can comment as many times as you would like, you just have to wait for three other people to leave a comment before you can enter again. Deadline to enter is 11:59 CDT tonight and the contest is open worldwide! Good luck!
We've heard rumblings for some time now that No More Heroes could be making the Hi-Def jump. The latest issue of Famitsu has finally confirmed what we all have been hopping for! The original No More Heroes will indeed be hitting the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 25, 2010 in Japan.
A couple of scans of the latest Famitsu have been uploaded to the Internets showing off some of the new features for No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise. Better graphics, no motion control, Japanese voice acting and a new mode called "Very Sweet Mode" where the girls of No More Heroes wear next to nothing. Sweet!
What do you all think of this news? I'm pretty excited. The only way this news could get any better is if Heroes' Paradise gets released outside of Japan!
Military Madness: Nectaris is a 3D turn-based game from Hudson Entertainment. It's been out for Xbox Live Arcade since September and it finally came over to the PlayStation Network last week. The above video will give you a taste of what to expect from this strategy game.
You can go spend some of your hard earned dough on the game, or you can possibly win a code for Military Madness right here on Destructoid. Simply submit a comment below with the name of a war that has taken place (a real historical war or a fictional war from games/movies/etc) and what platform you would like Military Madness for.
Yup, it's that easy. You have until 12:00AM CDT tonight to leave your entry below. You can enter as many times as you would like, but you have to wait for at least three other people to submit their entry before you can comment again. We'll be randomly selecting five winners to give the one PSN and four XBLA codes for Military Madness. Contest is open to everyone. Good luck!
[Update: Codes have been given out! Check your e-mail to see if you're a winner!]

It's no secret that Destructoid seems to attract talented artists from all walks of life. Still, it's always exciting seeing the art you guys and gals put out over on the Community blogs and Forums. Forza 3 released not too long ago and players can pimp out their rides with custom created artwork.
Dtoiders exodus1925, Jon B and Ocified-Xboxer all had the same idea and designed some Dtoid themed cars in Forza 3 which can get for yourself from their storefronts. Who else has created some custom art for Forza 3? Show us in the comments or over on the Forum thread!
We just got a press release for Mass: We Pray earlier today from Paryer Works Interactive and it's so ridiculous that we doubt that this is a real thing. Seriously, just look at the Web site or watch the video above. It feels like something College Humor or Adult Swim would do.
Cross-shaped controllers, Holy Water sprinkling mini-game, pressure-sensitive kneeling pads -- just wow. Bravo to the people behind this fake. And in the off chance that this is real ... Jesus Christ, seriously!?

Toys R Us has a ton of deals going on for toys during Black Friday, but their gaming selection isn't so great compared to some of the other Black Friday deals. Still, there are a few notable games on sale:
Dead Space (Wii) - $24.99
Forza Motorsport 3 (X360) - $34.99
Halo 3: ODST (X360) - $34.99
Guitar Hero on Tour and Decades Two Pack Bundle (DS) - $29.99
Need For Speed: Shift (X360, PS3) - $34.99
There are ton of other games, but a lot of it is shovelware. They will have a Xbox 360 Arcade unit going for $229.95 which comes with a carrying case and three games. It's hard to tell what all the games are due to the poor scan, but one of games is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.
Also, Toys RUs will have this Terminator Salvation mask thing for $14.99. Score!

You've no doubt seen the world's drunkest guy video by now. If not, you're in for a double treat as this spoof video takes the original and turns it into a videogame boss fight.
It's pretty funny at first, but the joke does get old pretty fast. Plus, the Super Mario music doesn't fit at all. Final Fantasy boss fight music would have been better suited. You also have to give the guy some credit. The fact that he was able to make it to a liqueur store at all is amazing.
Well, are you? We want you to take a picture of yourself in front of whatever Naruto product you own. Whether it be clothing, DVDs, videogames -- even taking a picture of yourself in front of a computer screen with something from Naruto on it is fine. Whatever picture you take, it must have something Naruto related in the image and there has to be some kind of sign or image that says Destructoid.com. No photo editing is allowed unless you want to create an animated gif.
You have until Sunday, November 22 11:59PM CST to submit your photo in the comments below. Contest is open to US residents only. We'll be picking the six biggest Naruto fans who will each be receiving this prize pack courtesy of Tomy Corporation:
One copy of Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 (Wii), one limited edition Naruto Shippuden Clash of Ninja Revolution3 T-shirt, one Naruto Headband and Naruto chopsticks. The grand prize winner will also be scoring himself an exclusive one-of-a-kind framed poster featuring Anbu Kakashi, the final unlockable character in Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 which is out in stores this week for the Wii.
Make sure you use BBCode when submitting your photo ([img]picturename.jpg[/img] and that the image is no wider than 620 pixels. Good luck!

New Super Mario Bros. Wiihit store shelves this past Sunday. At first, I was completely against the new Mario game based on my feelings towards New Super Mario Bros. for the DS. It's up there with Super Mario Sunshine as one of the worst Mario games to me. But, after seeing the latest videos and reading our review, it looks like the new Mario game will be pretty great!
