Elements of Destruction and Sea Life Safari on XBLA this Wednesday photo

Coming this week to Xbox LIVE Arcade are two relatively unknown games: Elements of Destruction (800 Microsoft Points) and Sea Life Safari (800 Microsoft Points).

Elements of Destruction has you controlling a mad scientist who's bent on destroying cities by harnessing the power of lightning, tornadoes, and earthquakes. The game sounds good in theory, but it's being developed by the same guys who did Screwjumper!, so I'm not holding my breath.

Taking a page from Endless Ocean, Sea Life Safari is all about photographing fish and other assorted sea creatures. If filling up your scrapbook with pictures of marine life sounds like a good time to you, then by all means look into Sea Life Safari.

While I'm not counting the seconds until these games come out, it is nice to see something a little more original on XBLA rather than another mediocre top-down shooter.

So we'll be getting a review of Sea Life Safari from Mr. Concelmo, right?

When I first read this, I somehow mixed the two in my brain and read it as a game where you destroy sea life. That would be awesome.

Elements of Destruction and Sea Life Safari? I read it as one whole game as well, Dex.

Elements of Destruction: Sea Life Safari
would probably be the best game ever created.

I heard Elements of Destruction was a decent budget title on the DS/GBA. I forget which it came out on...

The second the girl finds out Sea Life Safari exists, it looks like I'll have to buy it.
