Electroplankton making a splash on DSiWare (Update) photo

Finally, a DSiWare "game" that isn't a clock or a complete load of wanking sh*t. Electroplankton is a quirky music maker that uses little neon sea creatures to create tunes. It was a really interesting game that sat on my "must get" list for ages, but I never did go and buy it. Now that it's coming to DSiWare and I still have complimentary points to burn, it's certainly tempting.

Of course, there's always a catch. Electroplankton's ten different programs will be sold as individual 200 Point downloads. This still works out as a pretty good deal, since the original game was retail priced, and with 2000 Points still sitting on my DSi and doing nothing, I might as well just get the whole thing.

What about you? Is ElectroPlankton finally a worthy bit of DSiWare, or did you blow your Points on an Animal Crossing Clock

[Update: God damn it, I did not notice where it said Japan only. For God's sake, NoA, why can't we have nice things!?]

Why can't they have all 10 as a single program, so you don't have to add 10 different items to the menu? That's dumb.

I may still get it, but there should really be some sort of combining system.

Electroplankton is the only game I've ever imported :P

Can we get them all as one program? That'd be better.

My Giddy Is all Giddy'd Up.

Electroplankton is the sex. Moreso that I don't have to pay 80-150 bucks for it.

I used my 1000 free points on Art Style: Boxlife and Pictobits, two of the best puzzle games ever. Only Meteos is really better.

eBay sez 14$ shipped. Why would you buy it from DSiWare?

I feel like they really should have made a bundle and sold it for cheaper. Like, 200 points for each of the ten, or all ten for 1500 points. Oh well.

I'll probably pick this up seeing as the retail version is so expensive and hard to find. I've wanted Electroplankton for awhile now.

You all do realize that the report linked clearly states that this is for Japan only.

Jim, I know your job is to present information in a cynic and sarcastic way, but have you tried Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again or Mighty Flip Champs instead of the clocks?

I'd get Mario vs Donkey Kong, Mighty Flip Champs, and Boxlife if they were actually out in Europe. For the last month all we've had is clocks, Sudoku and brain games. It kinda sucks over here.

Pictobits (or Picopict) is awesome though!

the screenshot looks unfamiliar.
