Dungeon Keeper is one of the best computer games that ever came out of Britain, and one of Bullfrog's finest accomplishments. However, there was once a time when Electronic Arts was just as evil as Activision, and Bullfrog was consumed by the darkness, never to return. Dungeon Keeper went with it. However, following news that EA might be reviving some classic Bullfrog titles, it's come to light that Dungeon Keeper has received two brand new trademarks.
The trademark filings don't detail anything, so it could just be a case of trademark refreshing. However, with EA looking at a number of Bullfrog titles right now, there's a strong chance that this could indicate which franchise is being revived first.
I really hope that Dungeon Keeper is coming back, perhaps to a portable system or one of the console download networks. That game was utter genius, and great fun to boot, and I feel sad for anybody who hasn't played it. I'll be crossing my fingers and hoping for news to spring from this soon.

I loved the Dungeon Keeper games and I would love to play them again, or better yet, play a new entry in the series.
If you are getting our hopes up then I will send out my minions to find you, drag you back here and then I'll have my mistresses deal with you.
Hope we don't have to make microtransactions to unlock new creatures though. It's still EA we're talking about. Still, Kudos to them for bringing this series back to life.
Your very correct, as long as EA doesn't screw this up, then we have a massive WIN on our hands.
I want to play DK now, but I need to find the disc. Hopefully I can complete it this time round. Can't wait to see what comes out of this news - it's made my day! =D

If EA retained any of that original work, then it's not at all impossible for this to mean a resurgence of Dungeon Keeper.
On that note. I'm going to go reinstall DK2 and slap the taste out of some imps' mouths.
... have to third Bravothreezero, though - Bullfrog is dead, this will be EA's baby now. doesnt necessarily mean they'll screw it up, but there are plenty of long-delayed sequels that've been popping out as of late which are either just bland or dont seem to understand what made the original game/s so great.
but still, guardedly optimistic!
