I won't lie here I'm only two minutes into this 20 minutes of StarCraft II footage you can see below and while I am surely impressed I don't know if I'll make it all 20. That isn't to say that the video isn't exciting and that seeing the Terrans duke it out with the Zergs yet again isn't awesome, it's just that 20 minutes of other people playing a game without me being able to yell my "advice" at them is horrible. As such I'm just going to make up a few hot spots to check out by randomly clicking on the trailer. Let's see...
1:21 - Rocks!
6:34 - What a great move!
12:00 - High tech untis are a plus
18:14 - "More faster" is not proper English
Man, those are some awesome highlights, right? Seriously, these vids are actually a pretty cool way to show off the actual gameplay. Despite being long, in a game like StarCraft II seeing how an entire battle unfolds is way better than just random clips of troops moving.

OMG, that reaper totally got away with just 5hp. He was so freakin lucky back there. That could've gone terribly bad for the Terran player. Indeed that encounter could've easily have gone in the zerg player's favor had they encircled the reaper and totally raped him. But instead he surprisingly managed to get away despite what could've been a terrible casualty.
Yeah, this pretty much made be explode all over myself. AWESOME!
How did the Zerg lose this match? I feel like he had a huge resource lead for like the entire game, but failed to use it to either: A. Expand again, or B. Tech. Before he knew it, the Terrans were throwing everything at him, and the Zerg just screwed it all up.
I think we saw a little 'friendly help' from one guy to the other. Seems rather strange the zerg player managed to simultaneously run out of units for attack, units to expand, money to upgrade, etc, after replacing what, one army? Meanwhile the terran player is defending, expanding, teching, losing tonnes of units...

Yeah, something was strange here. The only two legitimate ideas I can think of are: 1. The Zerg player wasn't that good. He spent too much time micro-ing his units at the entrance to the Terran base and wasn't spending his resources wisely. Before he knew it, he only had tier 1 and 2 units, and he wasn't prepared for the Terran air strikes at all. 2. The races aren't balanced. This wouldn't be terribly surprising at this stage.
"I want to play it, but no heroes has me on the fence. WCIII was TOO good.
Also, who's up for SCII Dota?"
I like War3 and all, but I'm happy they're keeping the two series separate now. I'm sure War4 will have a hero system, if that's what you're looking for.
Well, I'd be surprised if you couldn't achieve the same aims with SC2's map editor that you could with War3's. Don't worry. I'm sure there will be some DOTA*, :P

I admire the valuable information you offer in your articles. I will bookmark your blog and have my children check up here often. I am quite sure they will learn lots of new stuff here than anybody else!

I love irony.
I'd be dead before the 2 minute mark...hmm, maybe I should pick up Halo Wars... *toddles off*
I just hope there isn't as much micromanaging as there was in Warcraft III because that was unbearable.

The game looks AMAZING! Can't wait to play it!

I'd totally watch this on ESPN.

Yea, I'm glad they're keeping them separate, but I would have liked the option. There's always Elements/User created RPGs! :D
