Indie Royale rings in the season with the Xmas Bundle
Just in time for the holidays, Indie Royale has come out with a new bundle for the indie gamer on your list. The Xmas Bundle features four games: The Blackwell Trilogy: Remastered, Eets, Dino D-Day and The Oil Blue. The Blackwell Trilogy: Remastered brings added features and voice acting, as well as developer commentary to this series of point-and-clink adventure titles. Eets, from Klei Entertainment of Shank fame, gives a unique spin to Lemmings-style puzzle gameplay and also gives players over 200 user-created levels as a bonus. Dino D-Day offers fast-paced World War II FPS combat with creatures from the Mesozoic Era in this interesting multiplayer title. The Oil Blue gives players a chance to sink their hands into the oil business, by managing drill sites, exploring islands, and selling your oil at the highest price. Indie Royale is offering up some very interesting games for this bundle; and if you're still searching for a nice little gift for an indie gamer who's been good all year long, then you can't do much better than the Xmas Bundle. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Was very interested in The Oil Blue from the articles that guy posted on the process of creating it. Blackwell looks awesome too, the rest (and the gifts they'll give in due time) are only added bonuses. Personally, this is why I support these bundles other then the humble bundles. If it weren't for these bundles, I might have never gotten to play ANY of these games (well, maybe Dino D-day. But the mixed reviews didn't help and I probably wouldn't have picked it up just becuase of my backlog), let alone have even hear about them. These bundles seem to really show off games that wouldn't have gotten humble bundle support. And as long as the developer has a game worthy of praise, that's great! That's not to say I don't support Humble Bundles (only missed the first one). I'm just glad there are alternatives for other developers to show off their stuff! Yeah, pretty unimpressive games, but 4 bucks is still worth it to try that adventure trilogy, and that mining simulator thing. I'd been sitting on the fence on Oil Blue despite loving the demo and Dino D-Day, so I'm stoked this bundle came along. Damn, I already pre-ordered this...at least I have an 8-bit version of Auld Lang Syne. Although, I'm only put off because of Dino D-Day. This was really a professional and fun article. I have really enjoyed reading this great website. This is really very cool. Thanks
