After weeks of teasing, Ed Boon took to Twitter today to reveal Mortal Kombat X, the next chapter of the Mortal Kombat series.

Not a whole lot is known about the game right now other than the fact that it exists, and that it will hit the PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms according to various rumored retail listings. We can likely expect some news soon though, leading up to and including E3!

Mortal Kombat X will drop in 2015.
