I can't wait for it to go multiplatform. I think it's novel that they want to add tension between the tablet and TV, but they're coming close to implementing junk for junk's sake to justify the new control scheme. The trailer is capable of showing both screen's information without any degradation, and any clever UI designer could still keep that tension with intensive, focussed tasks/objects taking up the majority of the screen, blurring and obscuring the approaching danger, with the ability to look back and forth in-game.
I am not a fan if the notion that zombies are over done, especially since 'authentic' zombie games like this seems to be so freaking rare! Zombie game, as a term, doesn't even mean anything when games with zombies don't necessarily share anything else in common. RE has no relationship to Lollipop Chainsaw in gameplay, aesthetics, tone, premise, or anything other than the fact that the enemies are called the same, and they aren't even remotely similar!
This seems to be the single-player version of what I wish Day Z were! A game that actually tasks you with surviving in a zombie apocalypse in a world that isn't filled with 753378954367478 bullets, and isn't a running joke of a humorous game!
OT: Did he use the wii u remote as a radar? Can you really see all zombies as red blips on your map? That would be a major fail.
