Does that AP in your name mean associated press or Activision Pawn?
Personally, I'm thrilled this story got posted, as that was a great burn. Thanks Jim.

No matter how you cut it, Activision is in the wrong here.
==============
I know it's trendy in, well, anything to look at the corporations as evil overlords and the people fired as the little guy bucking the machine or being wronged...but if you read the details, Those two Infinty guys look like bullshit.
Trying to say Activision is just trying to avoid paying them doesn't make any sense, since Activision freely admits there's that certain amount of money and they want to hand it out evenly among all of Infinity, not these two guys taking the huge chunk.
They're not trying to keep the money, it'll be handed out...it's just a matter of into who's hands. And any of those hands it goes to, they aren't back into Activisions. They agree it's due, just not to these two guys.
And there are plenty of public interviews where these guys, acting more like frat boys than professionals over the last year or two, would make snide cuts on Activision in interviews or slam Treyarch's Call Of Duty's for no real reason. (no, I'm not digging up and providing links. Do your own homework if you're that interested, it's not exactly hidden material).
Thing is, everything Activision has claimed, I've seen simply from reading various sources. And if some guy who doesn't work for either of them can see it, I can only imagine how bad the rest is that went on in private, off the record.
By the way, laugh it up EA. Don't you have have your own employees you have to get back to not paying overtime for?
Point is, not every guy fired from a corporation is the innocent guy getting taking advantage of. Sometimes people who get fired should be and are actually taking from others more than they have the right to.
In fact, Infinity is an offshoot of a core of people who worked at EA and fucked with them over money in much the same way as what's happening now, only Medal Of Honor wasn't as big a money maker as Modern Warfare and also the fact 10 years ago is too long ago to ask gamers to remember, it seems.
I can see EA laughing to the extent they're watching Activision suffer through their old headache and it's one of those "glad that's not us anymore" laughs.
Nothing has come to light for me to see Activision in the wrong in this particular situation.
I'm all for ripping bad people or corporations to shreds and making them accountable. But only if they actually do wrong. Not because a bunch of gamers think all corporations are automatically wrong.
As for Activision, they give me my Modern Warfare... THATS IT... Oh and Tony Hawk's RIDE.
A lot of people are going to be surprised by the outcome of thus case against Activision and the foolish ones who mocked them within the industry have only inched the red dot sight ever closer to their careers.
No, it's the fact that after the hearing no DLC for MW2 or future CoD releases can happen until the case is closed. :p
It really does make logical sense to not be so rash and support West and Zampella. FOr all we know, they are complete douchebags.
Activision is a terrible company and EA is pretty cool, but you guys don't have to be such sheep about it.
Activision: reported!
IW: reported for reporting!
