EA Sports reveals Madden NFL 11 soundtrack photo

EA Sports has confirmed that its upcoming sports monster title, Madden NFL 11, will ship on a disc that features music. Some music you've heard before, some you haven't, and some you wished you didn't have to. But here they are, the 23 tracks you'll be listening to as you sack, juke, and touchdown all over digital stadiums this August.

The song listing will consist of original recordings, cover tracks, and a team fight songs. Also, not one, but two Ozzy Osbourne songs -- "Let Me Hear Your Scream" and "Crazy Train." The former probably included as a requisite to get the rights to the latter, because "Crazy Train" is awesome and that other song is just some new Ozzy song that was on CSI.

That is the worst Madden soundtrack in my recent memory. EA can do better than that.

I'm curious, who's covering these cover tracks? If we can get like, the 1985 Chicago Bears to cover We Will Rock You and continue their stunning musical career, then I'll approve.

...Matter of fact, why has a Madden game not included the Super Bowl Shuffle yet?

Wow, that's bad - even by EA Trax standards.

while the menus will certainly be weird, the stadium will sound pretty good, considering these are the types of songs they play in the stadium.

was there any mention of NFL Films soundtracks as well? those songs will probably work well for the menus if they've kept them.

They had better be including custom music for PS3 with a shitty list like that.

I'm just horribly frightened that the Miami Dolphins fight song will be the T-Pain version

So we live in a universe where Welcome To The Jungle, Crazy Train, and Thunderstruck are all mentioned on a list of what people are calling terrible songs? Nevermind the fact that a few of the songs are actually staples in football stadiums.

Man, I must be a lot more forgiving than some people.
