Mixed martial arts fans wondering if EA Sports has what it takes to battle the THQ UFC giant may have their answer soon. A demo for the upcoming EA Sports MMA will be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 28.
The demo will feature four fighters, two each in the heavyweight and middleweight classes. Heavyweight champ Alistair Overeem and Bobby Lashley will make up the heavyweights; Jake Shields and Jason "Mayhem" Miller will make up the middleweight class. EA Sports is also offering an interesting incentive to download the demo and then share it with your friends -- those who do will unlock "Classic" Randy Couture as a playable character in the full version of the game.
EA Sports MMA is out for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 18.
