If you're an avid Electronic Arts fan and just have to have everything they own, you might want to tighten your belt for the next year. There's a lot of games, and in the publisher's fiscal earnings details released today, release windows for some major games were revealed.
Of note, Visceral's Dead Space 2 is confirmed for an early 2011 release, along with a new Spore title, the Epic Games/People Can Fly shooter, a new Dragon Age game, and an unannounced action title. Yes, I meant to write a new Dragon Age.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
This would require it to be a complete game, though. Is Bioware up to that? They didn't seem to do that well the last time they tried it with Sonic Chronicles.
But hey, if I can get a finished product out of Bioware for once, I'll give it the benefit of a doubt. Could be good.
I'm with you on the bad taste the whole "more action" thing left in my mouth. I just try my best to ignore things like that in hopes that when I finally get to play the game, I'm not tainted by negative expectations.
Well Dragon Age has been confirmed to be in development for a bit now.. and it says next Dragon Age game.. so I have no idea why you'd assume it's an expansion, when everything points to it not being an expansion.
Ok, I'm done now.
The issues I had with Sonic Chronicles were with the sound department. BioWare apparently had some trouble with the licenses for the soundtrack and sound effects.
I hope to god Visceral pulls DS2 off, but so far they haven't given me anything for much hope. But, then again... I was of that mind concerning much of the early hype of Mass Effect 2. And now I've invested incredible amounts of time into it in a ridiculously small window of time.
I was hardly in school when playing Origins.
