A handheld Dragon Age? The gameplay is so old school that might just work.

Skate 3, medal of honor and crysis 2, looks like it can still be a great year. But I'm sure mass effect 3 was planned for a jan-march release date?

Despite the fact that both the original Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 turned out great, I can't help but question this new EA-owned BioWare... this seems too soon.

Handheld Dragon Age, eh?

This would require it to be a complete game, though. Is Bioware up to that? They didn't seem to do that well the last time they tried it with Sonic Chronicles.

But hey, if I can get a finished product out of Bioware for once, I'll give it the benefit of a doubt. Could be good.

As weird as it is I am with mrandydixon on this one even though the whole Dead Space leanding towards more action is bullshit i'll bite my tongue till I get to play it.

Dragon Age: Journeys the iPhone app wouldn't be so bad.

A full blown version of Dragon Age: Journeys on the handhelds, PC and consoles as downloadable content would be quite interesting, but it's probably another expansion with a separate handheld version.

@mix (AKA, my boner brother)

I'm with you on the bad taste the whole "more action" thing left in my mouth. I just try my best to ignore things like that in hopes that when I finally get to play the game, I'm not tainted by negative expectations.

Weird.. I'm not a big Sims fan or anything.. but it intrigues me that there's a new one in Q4 11.. yet, that's way too long for the next expansion for Sims 3.. but too soon for Sims 4. And it's PC only. Wonder what it is.

Uzzy,

Well Dragon Age has been confirmed to be in development for a bit now.. and it says next Dragon Age game.. so I have no idea why you'd assume it's an expansion, when everything points to it not being an expansion.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF....

I was dead set on playing Dead Space end of THIS year! Now I have to wait till NEXT year before I can be scared shitless again? That sucks! DS2 BETTER be awesome though!

EA Sports Fighting Title? OH GOD! PLEASE NO MORE DEF JAM!

Hopefully the Dragon Age title is a full fledged sequel and not a sidestory or something. Yeah, it's surprising Bioware can pump it out so quickly (compared to their other games) but hey, I enjoyed DA and sure as hell don't mind more Darkspawn killing!

@ The Silent Protagonist

The issues I had with Sonic Chronicles were with the sound department. BioWare apparently had some trouble with the licenses for the soundtrack and sound effects.

That looks interesting. I'm most excited about this Epic/People Can Fly shooter, they're the creators of Painkiller after all, so this may be really awesome, even though we know nothing about this game at this point.

Dead Space was easily one of my top five games of '08, though I'm of two minds of it. One half creams itself at the thought of it, the other half is feeling kinda disconcerted about the focus over action than horror.
I hope to god Visceral pulls DS2 off, but so far they haven't given me anything for much hope. But, then again... I was of that mind concerning much of the early hype of Mass Effect 2. And now I've invested incredible amounts of time into it in a ridiculously small window of time.

i'm only interested in Medal of Honor if it will have good and long singleplayer, Crysis 2, Dead Space 2, both NFS games, new Dragon Age, Epic's new shooter and that action game(oh please let it be Mirror's Edge 2).

Great, in one year Dragon Age will once again descend upon my life, with horrific results.

Console Crysis and Dead Space 2 are two golden niblets of corn in what is otherwise an ashy corn log of shovel ware.
