Pretty sure you meant to say that FIFA 13 on the Vita is just FIFA Football (or FIFA Soccer in the US, just in case this wasn't confusing enough) repackaged.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned that, I was expecting hardcore FIFA fans like myself to have come on and made the usual "JIM STERLING DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT AND HAS LOST ALL CREDIBILITY WITH ME BOYCOTT DESTRUCTOID, BOYCOTT BOYCOTT" comments.

It's so bad it's just comical. it's amazing that the only reason EA is still standing is because of the uncaring market.

God dammit. And it's like the only people who would even buy this game are people that already have Fifa 12. And of course they would know this. If I bought this game I would be like huh cool. Cause I dont play football games.

The game known as "FIFA Soccer" on Vita came out in February of this year. FEBRUARY. That was seven fucking months ago. Do you know when FIFA 13 came out? This week. And guess what platform FIFA 13 also came out on: The Playstation Vita. FIFA Soccer isn't FIFA 12 repackaged as FIFA 13. It IS FIFA 12. The Vita didn't exist when FIFA 12 first came out.

This is Slowtaku meme worthy. Headline: "Sports Gamers Get Gypped!" These games have a horrible depreciation rate. In four years, it'll be just as well that 2012 was the same as 2013. Both will be $1 used at Gamestop. The cover art, player stats and roster are the only real necessary updates anyway. Here's the thing: we gripe about the price of games. Companies charge that much, however, because we are expected to value the content at that price. Ideally, EA could have a download update to their core sports games franchises. Most likely, these games will become subscription based and the 59.99 will annually entitle the gamer to digital updates. This is the game as it is.
