EA is shutting down online for these sports games soon
There can be a sense of urgency to buying games, knowing that if you wait too long, some of the functionality may no longer exist. Whether it's the servers getting physically shut down or simply a dwindling community of online players, sometimes, waiting for that great price drop might not be the right move after all. Electronic Arts is retiring a number of titles this month, starting with this selection on January 11, 2013:
This is followed by The Sims 2 (PC/Mac, and TheSims2.com) on January 14, in addition to Trenches II (iOS) on January 19.
