EA loves me.
What's this bandwidth talk? Are they on dial-up internet or something?
EA will glady port it over and leave it without any of the cool updates the PC will get. EA would like to assure customers that it is totally committed to getting your money in the first place, but supporting their products after release with additional content after the fact with aanything other than a standalone expansion pack would not be in their best interests.
EA would also like to remind customers that selling or lending your game to friends is evil and if you do it you are scum.
Quite frankly, I'm surprised EA hasn't gone in to the arcade business where they can charge you every time you play.
Interesting
I think its safe to say if you havent got an xbox360 but this for the PC as the EA port will sux ass and not have any updates produced what so ever!
@Clance: By bandwidth I assume he means resources / staff to allocate to a PS3 port.
Didn't the Orange Box for PS3 suck major balls though? Why would PS3 fanboys be excited for this? I mean I honestly think Left 4 Dead would have the replay value of a banana without custom maps or all those wonderful updates it's probably never going to see.
Until Valve fully supports the PS3, I will only buy their games used. That way I can enjoy their product without giving them any of my money ^_^
Oh come an EA, don't ruin VALVe's game only so you can make some money.
As much as I don't want to see you kiss Hogan's ass, I do in a train wreck kind of way. I would like to see L4D on my PS3
I'm pretty sure that "bandwidth" is referring to the rate at which data can be passed to various system components.
kevinski: No he is saying they don't have enough resources (people) to do all the ports themselves so they will only do the PC and 360 versions.
EA is not interested in patching TF2.
@Celica
I like that idea.
@CelicaCrazed
It's okay. I'll buy two copies to make up for it. ;)
I don't want to see it happen.
Just so i can PUBLICLY watch Jim Sterling lick someone's ass.
@ Sharpless
Well at least I'd be getting you to buy 2 qualities titles. I could be mean and get you to buy two copies of Wii Music >:) hehehe. But I'm sure this offer only applies to applicable Valve titles...
