This looks fantastic, if only for the fact that it's finally a game set in Britain that isn't the GetAway. Very interesting.
This game has such a bizarre development record. It started as a Rabbid game, then became Killer Freaks, and now it's ZombiU.
My dad was a Scots Guard for like a decade. Red coat, bear skin hat, bayonet, hanging out around the Queen's houses (Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace, etc), the works. Just like the protagonist (? Maybe? Hopefully.) He thinks this sounds brilliant, as do I.
What was the last game set in Britain, anyway? Was it The Getaway? Damn, that was so long ago. Anyway, this looks cool! I'm interested.

The finale of Mass Effect 3 (spoilers?) was set in London, but it was pretty fleeting and you couldn't really recognise it for various reasons (futuristic setting/everything blown up).
Either way I'm really looking forward to this. A nice cynical view of Britain whilst everyone else is ejaculating over the jubilee.

Also, based on that link you posted, it sounds like it's getting a multi-player mode in which one person takes the place of Left4Dead's AI Director. Could be interesting.

The trailer was pretty cool, but tried obviously to emulate the Dead Island hype...I like the trailer, but we know absolutely nothing about the gameplay. Is it still like Killer Freaks ? Or did they change it too ? We will see at Nintendo´s Pressconference

So is the WiiU going to usher in another SNES era naming convention where every fucking game had to have "SUPER" in it's title? Only now a "U" must be included.

2 things keep this game from being awesome.
1) Ubisoft ubabashedly ripped off the Dead Island trailer
2) ZombiU is a fucking terrible name.
I'd say it's three things, and name it being a Wii-U exclusive as the third, but considering we've been given little to no sense of much of what the real gameplay looks like, it might be better off that it is a Wii U only title, for all we know.

Honestly, I'm surprised Nintendo didn't push stuff like that MORE, after putting 64 after the end of everything for years.

Ah, I see. I've not played ME3 yet but it doesn't sound like I'm missing much in terms of Britishness. I should probably get on that.
And I COMPLETELY agree about that much needed dash of cynicism. I'm so worn out on this jubilee rubbish, it's been ridiculous.
If the protagonist really is a Scots Guard, and the first zombies you encounter (and therefore must slaughter) turn out to be the royals, I think I'd piss myself laughing.
Either way, it's just nice to see a bit of the UK in a game for once. Let's just hope they hire actual British voice over actors for the characters. I think I'd cry if every character was a Victorian chimney sweep. "'Allo guv'nor! Wot's all this then?" etc.

Oh god, the British accents in Assasin's Creed 3 were god-awful. So I'm not holding out hope. Also, the fact that a double decker bus just happened to have a Beefeater on it makes me think they just might delve into lazy stereotypes.

I don't think this is the game that Nintendo "teased". Nintendo didn't tease any zombie game. They made it all up just as a hypothetical example. They didn't show more than 3 seconds of footage of the "game".
When asked about Zombi U after the Ubisoft press conference on G4, the president of Ubisoft said the game will be demoed tomorrow at another press conference. So one could only assume he meant the Nintendo one tomorrow morning.
Ubisoft cashing in on the launch of a Nintendo system with a new IP that's M rated and "hardcore".
