Venture Beat recently cornered Epic Games' President Mike Capps, who revealed that the developer is not currently working on a new Unreal game. But that doesn't mean its sleeping on the job, either.
"We might have a new one coming," he says of an upcoming game reveal, "I think E3 is going to be really exciting for fans of Epic."
We already know that Epic is working with People Can Fly an Electronic Arts published shooter, which is set to ship early next year. The title is likely to get an E3 reveal, and has been hiding in development for awhile; during an Unreal Tournament III press demo tour, Epic's Mark Rein told me how amped up he was about this project. That was in 2007.
What of another Gears of War title? A follow-up to the popular franchise seems like a no-brainer, but whether not we'll see it at E3 remains a mystery. Epic hasn't given up on the Gears movie, either -- Capps tells Venture Beat he hopes they'll have "some news to share soon."

My bet it Gears 3 reveal, or a Shadow Complex sequel.
and how is two games milking it?
God some people are idiots.
OH MY GOD A CHARACTER SKIN IN ANOTHER GAME IS CLEARLY MILKING!
OM MY GOD A SEQUEL IS MILKING!
STFU and realise how this industry works.
People want more of something, they buy more of it.
They don't, the wont.
seriously, end of case.
Gears 3 is okay too, i guess.
Shadow Complex 2.
All I want.
Are you kidding me? Millions of people have Reach as their most anticipated game of 2010. But yea, Gears 3 plz. Or SC2. Or.. both?
Probably.
Considering that UDK is now free, they'll want to capitalize on the bigger studio's desire for a more modern toolkit, and GoW3 is the best way to showcase this.
Also, I hate Gears of War.
Maybe if they add 4 player It might get a little more interesting.
Also, I'm appalled at the blatant lack of Carmine in that header...
