Okay I looked up the word and it apparently in the greek alphabet it's pronounced beta which is the 2nd letter and refers to the number 2. I don't know if that is enough reason that could warrant it's use for the device?
Psp Vita is fine, iF its real everyone will get used to it. It sounds nice and its meaning has me intrigued.

I never liked NGP, just because I thought it was too close to the Neo Geo Pocket... and I don't like Vita. I'll call it the PSV though, I can live with that.
