I've had it with these fucking scripted climbing sections. This is reason enough not to care about this game.
More hyper scripted gameplay. Oh well, it's still a million times better than kinect star wars so I won't complain.

Atleast from the small clips I saw, this is essentially an Uncharted game in the Star Wars Universe. Since I love both that isn't a bad thing.
As long as they do an Indy game with this engine next I am totally fine with it. Looks beautiful. Current gen consoles wont look/perform like this at all tho. Very interesting indeed...
But I was going into Tosche Station to pick up some power converters!

I liked Republic Commando's grittier take on Star Wars. Hopefully this game will leave a lasting impression like that game did, unlike the Force Unleashed...

Anyway I'm tired of Bioware Star Wars, and I'm tired of being a Jedi. After pushing through the prequels, and that unsure time after episode 3, I'm happy someone is concentrating on a more or less regular dudes again. Well..... regular for the Star Wars universe.

People need to stop hating on scripted gameplay. Who gives a fuck if it's scripted? What, do you no longer like to watch movies? Does the entire fucking gaming genre need to be typecasted as one type of experience?

Sure, it looks nice, but the gameplay didn't impress me. He was shooting some guys in a ship with a hole in it. Okay, cool. Show me more...
It certainly looks nice, but instead of emulating the cinematic/climbing survival shooter ala Uncharted, I'd rather see them rebooting a brilliant concept: How about an open world shooter-RPG starring Jango Fett? Customizable armor, stealth/action gameplay, jetpacks, lots of bounties to be collected all over the galaxy, flying the Slave 1, people to interact with and investigate...

Even though we're shown about a minute of actual gameplay, I feel like 1313 could learn a lot from The Last of Us if they're trying for "grim and gritty" Star Wars.
It's kinda sad that these kinds of visuals could have been reached by now in the realms of PC gaming already if it wasn't for Sony and Microsoft clinging on to their ancient TV boxes.
What no one else seems to be saying yet, that I've been thinking since i saw this on GameTrailers, is that just because this game *looks* awesome, doesn't mean it *will be* awesome. Lucas Arts has a fine way of saying "here look at this cool thing we've built, isn't it pretty!" only to turn around and hand you a bedazzled down syndrome child.
In other words: I wouldn't be surprised if 1313 turns out to be the next Force Unleashed - fun enough to play, but ultimately not worth the hype that surrounded it.

2) Whole thing takes place on a level of Coruscant.. After playing a fraction of what we're supposed to think Coruscant is supposed to be like in The Old Republic, I'm going to say right away that this games environments are probably going to be bland as hell.. Hope we still love grey and brown, cause thats what this games going to give us more of. Its the death of green.

What I don't understand is all the hate comparing this to Uncharted. If this was Uncharted 4, these same people would be shitting themselves to try and praise it first. Instead, we get an appealing graphic and audio systemby the biggest names in the industry, on top of a lengthily hard-coded physics and gameplay model that looks impressive,if reminiscent of one of this generation's best series, all married and seemingly copulating with a temptingly dark and gritty narrative set in Star Wars. What's wrong with you people?
LucasArts has actually said this is just a placeholder reveal; this whole thing is probably going to be summed up in a trailer when the game really comes out, and in the meantime, we've been promised shooting action, gadgets, and bounty-huntin antics in this galaxy some distance away, a while back, that we've all come to know and love.
Bicker amongst yourselves if you want; I'm already working on bringing my anticipation drive up to full gear.
