If this is going to be like Star Wars Arcade but instead of a blaster, it is force powers, I will buy a damn Kinect.
This is where that scanning function shown back when Kinect was Natal would be awesome. The only problem would be all the televisions that get obliterated by people swinging there makeshift lightsabres around the living room.
Sounds alright, I suppose, but it's nothing that couldn't be done (perhaps better) with Wii or Move...

I think if it was sorta time crisis-y or wario-wareish where it's like really fast-paced quick snippets of action and partially on-rails it might have a chance to not totally blow ass. Of course those types of games are usually one-trick horses and end up being way too shallow and short.
It looks painfully slow in action...the only good thing was the actual trailer with the two kids in it.
Not because the trailer was exciting or the gameplay displayed did anything for me,I just like to pretend that the kid who turns around at the end and sees all that star warsy goodness around him has actually snapped,replaced his own world with that of the star wars universe and is about to start slicing up younglings (ie his school chums and family members)

sound awesome and if it works and have enough content(then again most Kinect exclusive games had) i will pick it up though with so many Kinect core titles on the horizon and non-Kinect exclusives it will be tough. can't wait for Kinect games from TGS to be shown and MSs core-Kinect line-up from western developers. i really hope they picked up Mechwarrior reboot(though having 2 exclusive mech games would be difficult).
i really hope those rumored Dance Central 2 features will be true cause it sounds like Harmonix is jumping from Guitar Hero 1(Dance Central) to Rock Band 3(Dance Central 2) with one game.

Well, as a total Kinect hater, I think it's only fair that I say that the screen shot looks pretty damn nice.

Not to sound like a troll, but this would've been better on Move IMO, at least for lightsabers, the way the lightsabers act in the trailer is so sluggish...

It looks as if someone finally figured out that forward body movements can be translated by the Kinect sensors into forward movement in a game space rather than putting the whole thing on rails. Take note of this, Double Fine(not that Sesame Street characters do much traveling outside of 'Follow that Bird')!
Hopefully, the Moonwalk, helpfully re-dubbed in the game as The Skywalk, is a valid input. They could even have a tutorial mode where Obi-Wan tells the player "Use less Force, Fluke Moonwalker."!
Considering how well The Michael Jackson Experience sold, there are plenty people who have practiced the very move needed to make fast fluid forward movement via Kinect possible!

I love Star Wars as much as the next guy, but not enough to spend at least a hundred dollars on a Kinect. Gotta give me more than that Microsoft.

While it might be good for those, it really has'nt delivered for anything else. If and when it does, Something else will be out that is better, like the new Nintendo. Mark my words. If Nintendo's screen thingy on Project Cafe is a success, MS and Sony will copy it, a year or two later, only to have missed the mark.

Force pushes and grabs sound pretty cool. But yeah, I need some sort of weight in my hand if I'm going to be swinging a digital lightsaber around.
