While I really wish it was still Ironside, this game looks amazing. I don't care if the game is still good.

That seems on par with the SC series. He gets older, story wise, but physically looks younger in every game. I'm guessing he's 62 in the screen grab :)

I don't see a point to any of this. Is it a prequel? That would explain it, but for me Ironside IS Sam Fisher. His voice defines the character.
How could they recast the voice of sam fisher this long into the character? Seriously Ubisoft just lost a hardcore fan. Michael Ironside IS Sam Fisher, I could care less that he can't do the physical stuff, just keep his voice! There's no need for one actor to do it all, there were no problems with Ironsides's voice acting in all the previous games, so why fix something when it isn't broken?

though i do not like the conviction style of play, then again i was never really a fan of the splinter cell games.
tried the HD collection on the PS3, i didn't had any fun at all.
guess i prefer stealth games that have "game" mechanics like MGS, Deus Ex, Shinobido, Tenchu,
not a fan of "realistic" style of play.

This game looks like another military HEY HO USA bullshit. Kind of wish it was more complex then terrorists vs USA
This will NOT be considered a true Splinter Cell game by almost any fan who has played all the other games! Seriously! This guy is too young to be voicing Sam Fisher. Way too young!!! He also makes Sam sound like a pussy, no offense to the actor.
If you guys would do some research then you would under stand. They obviously just didn't decide to fire the original voice actor for. Although it sucks and will take some time getting used to for fans of the game that have been there since the first game in 2002, the game is still going to be great(if you liked Conviction).
