Staged or not, the game doesn't look very good.. But I guess we don't care cause its built to be an eSport, or something?
I mean, event he rules made stupid little sense.. 1 person against three but oops the one person with the dinky rocket launcher that can't manage to kill in 1 hit has to fend off all 3 of the people with the 1 shot guns..
Yeah yeah, skill, yadda yadda.. Still really didn't make a bit of sense to have a 3 on 3 game that gimps either side so badly and expects them to win.. They didn't even manage to use the whole map, just 1 distict area, because.. well.. where else were they --really-- going to go when the capture point was in that one fucking spot?

If it wants to even be considered an esport played by more than 20 people total it needs to change a lot.

@BoomingEchoes I think you've got the guns mixed up, 3 rocket launchers against 1 instagib railgun. It seems to make for a really well balanced match

It looks awesome to me. If they're really trying to make a viable eSport (and I'm not saying that's a wise idea) then simplicity is key. Small maps, few weapons, simple rules and balanced, skill-based gameplay. It makes it easier for a spectator to follow and will encourage players to work on strategy and skill, without the distraction of loadouts or pickups.
