I was just frustrated that we had to sit through Usher's off-key singing and more social media apps that I will never use to get to the actual game trailers and demos.
Surprisingly, the new Tomb Raider looks wonderfully cinematic, and I'd like to see more of it, along with the South Park game. Not too much else to get excited over in my opinion.

It wasn't bad, but it was no where near good. Too many apps, not enough AAA games. This was a CES conference, not one for E3.
Also, they should have ended with a reveal, not something already known about, like BlOps2. It didn't even have to be exclusive, just something new...

Where are the new games? Xbox live and new apps are great, but where are the new franchises? Very underwhelming presentation. It seems like Xbox is less about games each year.
Did anyone see that new X-Bocks. It apparently some sort of new Media Centre where you can view movies, music, pictures, use the internet, and use apps. It looks really good. What's that?...It's a video game console?..whats video games?

I enjoyed seeing the new Splinter Cell and Tomb Raider games the most. They're both looking really good.

Tomb Raider and South Park. Tomb Raider because it looks like a fun game. It looks like it's going to do a lot of things Uncharted does, but yeah, still looking forward to it. Hope the controls are tight. Played Tomb Raider 1, Angel of Darkness, and the game where you go to find Thor's statue or something, and couldn't play more than 2 hours of those games because controls were shit. As for South Park... It seems pretty epic. Clyde as a huge-ass monster? Haha cool :D

Correction: The Xbox isn't less about games, it's just more about entertainment.

Well they did 'Electronics' and 'Expo' but as for 'Entertainment' not so much.

I thought it was a good show. I came away knowing that my 360 will become an even better machine in the coming months. I'll likely use most if not all of the new features and entertainment options(real ESPN woot!), and hey, there's some really great games coming out this year! Many of which are either exclusive to the 360 or offer exclusive content on the 360.

I don't know what people are on about, it was a solid showing. Some new tech, some gameplay, some Usher. Nothing mind blowing, but nothing awful.

When people say that you can just ignore the Kinect stuff I question if they fully understand how finite development resources work.

The 3rd straight year of sub-par Microsoft press conferences. What happened to them? Well I know the answer to that, Kinect happened to them. Taking up half of your press conference to talk about Kinect crap, just takes all the excitement out of the entire show. And filling up 25% of the show on XBLA games, that just makes it seems like they have even less games, than they actually do. What a unimpressive show!
I just watched the Halo 4 demonstration, it looked pretty good to me, and I've never been much of a Halo fan.

and i love people who cry every year "no GAEMZ", i'm sorry, but how many games do you buy each year when you cry how there's no games on the console that receives between 80 and 100 games in retail ALONE, EACH YEAR. i am rather picky about games and i still have quite a few titles from 2008-2011 that are still sealed and i don't play online nor do i am in love with shooters.
i'm very pleased with this conference since i've got everything that i wanted and then some.

Didn't watch it, I pretty much expected it would be boring as fuck since Microsoft has never been one to put on a decent show. So, I figured I'd base my opinion purely on the announcements and... Yeah. It was boring as fuck.

You know what I've watched the Microsoft press conferences for the last few years, and this time I decided to opt out cause the past were shit, but it looks like I missed out on their best conferences. Halo 4 looks pretty dang cool, smartglass looks kinda neat, everything else seems kinda bleh, but those 2 things seem to pull it ahead of previous years.
It probably wasn't that great, but from the few snippets I've seen it looks better than what I've seen from them in the past years.

Compared to last year, Microsoft actually did way better in terms of just showing atleast something major. Last year..I can't remember any shit they did except from Kinect
So.. Harmonix stopped the Rock Band series to save money. But they thought making more Dance Central games and hiring Usher wouldn't cost much?

I expected more, especially after last year’s lack luster showing. Halo 4 and the other core games looked great, but they again focused a bit much on Apps/Kinect. Xbox Glass seemed interesting, especially after the mocking by Matt & Trey =P .
