On the other hand I'm pissed that they don't use the hardware on PC to make a realistic racing game without any drawbacks! GT5 has it and so will Forza4. The hardware is just too limited.

Dang, I'm having a really hard time believing this is possible on a 360. I... I might have to buy this. GT5 is gorgeous, but Forza is gorgeous AND more fun than GT. It's got... something extra. Gah, this E3 is getting me really excited for this year in gaming.
Woooooo....that looka nice yes! I think this is taking a place ahead if Gears 3 on my list of reasons to buy a new litterbox.
I used to love Gran Turismo, but I was disappointed with 5. After playing Forza3, the bar was raised, but I didn't feel like GT5 really nailed it. Poor menus and long load times with less customizability than Forza3 was disappointing. However, Microsoft is really missing a top tier wheel other than fanatecs wheels. The winner really is contingent on who can provide both well...hardware and software.
I thought the header image was a real photo until I clicked on it. Even then I had to press my face to screen to figure out it's from a game. Forza 2 was the last iteration I bought, but it may be time for another.

I'm actually right there with you. I've always been on the xBox, and Have had EVERY single Forza, was always telling everyone how badass it always was... Then when I got a PS3, I figured, "everyone talks about how amazing Gran Turismo is, so why not"...
Yes it is breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL, and I spent hours taking photo's of the cars.
Yes the dynamics are insane... ON the track... put 1 centimeter of tire off track and your instantly backwards... if the braindamaged AI doesnt ram you off the track first...
I cannot wait for Forza 4... let them put it on 9 discs if they have to...

Turn10 and Forza has been in a league of their own. i love that with each new Forza game they're making so much improvements and want to push even more than is needed. quite frankly if they left with Forza 3 graphics i would be more than ok. i can't believe that such a small team can pump such huge games every 2 years.
- new graphics engine,
- new and improved physics engine(even though Forza 3 already had great engine for console sim),
- mind bending AI(go watch IGN presentation - Best AI in video games ever created),
- all 500+ cars rescanned and remade once again just for this game with sound recorded individually for every single car(there's a video how they were recording it and wow. they have like 20+ microphones all over the car, inside cockpit and under the hood),
- all tracks has been rescanned using laser scanning technology(only iRacing.com is using that besides Turn10) and remade for Forza 4,
- all Top Gear stuff is just insane(TG test track, all "reasonably priced" cars, legendary challanges and venues from TG episodes, hours of Clarkson commentary and they still say they have more),
- loads of new community features,
- Auto Vista mode(in one of the interviews Greenawalt said that this mode will have special challenges and events with overall 10+hours of content),
and so much more.
it boggles my mind how a single 100+ person team of car lovers can do so much in just 2 years and yet they still want to push even further. i love Turn10s way of thinking and development philosophy. this is by far my favourite developer and if other teams had even half of the passion for gaming and their job as these guys, man...MS give them every $$ you can those guys are worth every $ they've earned for you and much more.
