Okay Nick, you made me literally lawl with that last sentence. And as ugly as these controllers are, it looks like Xbox 360 is finally getting a D-Pad that's worth a damn.
While these are some ugly controllers, I must say that I love the fact that the PS3 controller essentially looks like an Xbox controller. If I ever get a PS3, that would be my controller for it.

The sticks being configured like a 360 controller are all well and good when the triggers are on the back. However, R1 and R2 still being on the top of the controller looks like it's going to require some pretty crazy hand contortion to hit those buttons while keeping your thumb on the right analog stick.

Am I the only person who doesn't like the position of the left stick? That always bugged me, I don't like having my hands in different positions when I'm playing games. I could never really get on with N64 games because of it and I can't stand the 360 controller. I loves me some symmetry.

I HATE the Dpad being down there via Xbox style so even if this was $5 I would not buy one and LOL @ 360 wired, what the HELL is this company thinking? They might as well add a floor mount gaming stand as well so you don't have to hold the controller.

I personally love where the sticks are on PS3. If i wanted an xbox controller... i would have bought an xbox.... I hate when companies make controller like that.
Power A make terrible controllers. I bought their latest one, imposible to play a shooter with them. Sticks have a huge dead zone. Default Ps3 controllers are fucking terrible, why have the sticks so close to each other? So fucking retarded..

Wow... my fingers have never touched while playing a PS3 controller... You guys obviously dont know who to hold the damn controller or something. Unless you have hands that look like your feet you should have no problems... Stupidest complaint i have ever seen.

It's probably a crap controller. Sad. There are no quality controllers for PS3 with offset analog sticks. I would use my PS3 more if I weren't saddled with a controller designed over a decade ago.
What's the problem with wired controllers? You never have to replace the batteries and they don't go missing or need syncing with a console. TBH I think wireless controllers are a step backwards.
Just noticed how everyone is bitching about it being wired.. for one, third parties can't make wireless controllers, two, how the fuck are wireless better? Have to replace the damn batteries every three or less days, seem to be less responsive as the batteries die.. what is there to gain?

I hate wireless controllers with a passion. I prefer the wired route, which is why my play and charge kit is pluggedin my controller 24/7.

@Nick: I think those of us who like wired like it because we don't like replacing batteries. Ever since I went wired on my 360 a year ago, I've had seamless all-nighters.
I think all these complaints about wireless controllers are silly.... It takes just as long to plug in a controller to sync a controller. If you have a PS3 you just plug it in for a little bit and keep playing.

.... Wires really let me tell u the downside of wired controllers those of us who have GIANT TV's we can't sit that close to it and when I go to the fridge I keep the controller with me wires are too constructing
I don't like wireless controllers, and I especially don't like the location of the sticks on the Dualshock controller. That said I also don't like poorly constructed controllers and would rather stick with the 1st party controllers.
I don't give a shit about Batman, but if these are well-made, I might get one for the 360 so I have a decent D-pad.

I will say though (and yes I'm contradicting myself here) that the razer 360 gamepad looks amazing, far FAR superior to the microsoft one..... because the dpad doesn't suck.
