let's all hope for multiplatform release cause honestly, this should have been on 3DS in the first place. Shin Megami Tensei franchise is pretty much exclusive to Nintendo platforms and i can't see why they didn't made it a 3DS game from the very beginning(except for Sony's moneyhatting). Nintendo platforms have massive SMT fanbase and it seems that all SMT game released on other platforms are kinda flopping outside Japan.

That said, I'm yet to play Persona 4 (don't hate me), so I may pick this up along with the Vita once I get some money together!

This game is for my Vita what OoT3D was for my 3DS, the game I've played 1000 times before that makes me glad I own the thing.

actually it's more about the fact that whenever someone says that in Nintendo news, EVERYONE is ok with that and moreover you're getting 20 responses stating that how it shouldn't exist on Nintendo platform or how it would sell gazillion more copies on X platform(presumably sony's) despite often selling WAY over what publisher was expecting.
No More Heroes, anyone? Suda celebrated 300k sales calling it their biggest success and game ended up selling over 600k on Wii and yet Nintendo haters were still calling it a flop(i don't know in what world selling twice as much as what was considered as "huge success" by the publisher could be called a flop).

@Sofik; Please shut up. Jeez, I live in the UK, you know what that means? It means I get barely any Atlus games in the first place, and even when we do get them, they are usually delayed for quite a while (Persona 4 didn't come out here in EU until 2009! and we still don't have the 3DS version of Devil Survivor, or Devil Survivor 2). So to be honest; it reeeeeeally doesn't matter what platform they are on, as long as I get to play them. Hell P4:G doesn't even have a launch window for EU, so just be happy you get these great games, ok?
I'm certainly getting this, October is already becoming a busy month for the Vita, with Assassin's Creed Liberation coming out a week later.

Hate to have to defend Sofik, but he's correct. Nintendo portables have been getting SMT proper (as in actual main series SMT, much darker, less happy).
PSP and Vita have been getting Persona, which is a spin off series (SMT by way of marketing, they're not exactly the post-apoc cyberpunk games DS and 3DS are getting.
Persona I'd cool but it's really isn't SMT beyond what's slapped on the package. If it was SMT, we'd just call it that, but we call it Persona.
