wasn't Payday an indie game? i heard about free online game The Heist last year(they were in beta then) and it looks exactly like that game in terms of gameplay and graphics. so i guess sony bought the developer/rights to this title.
Fox news is going to have a heyday with this... it's a bank robbing emulator where you get to kill cops!
Still...it does look like it might be fun (and if it was an Indie game then it's nice to see Sony continuing to support these smaller indie devs by bringing their game to a larger audience).

I have been wanting a bank robbery/heist game for a while now! I checked out "Kane and Lynch" but it didn't really play the way I wanted it to, and from what I have seen for the multiplayer of KaL2, there are so many problems!
Hopefully this game will deliver the heist experience that I want, and it looks like it will :)
