Nintendo has just announced the latest iteration of the smash hit series Scribblenauts. In this new version, entitled Scribblenauts Unlimited, 5th Cell once again puts a fresh face on the series by adding new features. While Super Scribblenauts added adjectives, Scribblenauts Unlimited will allow you to put objects together to complete your objective, like a stingray on a spatula or, as with the demonstration, a dog on tires. You can also share these creations with your friends. Multiplayer mode will also be available, for which they've added a new as-of-yet unnamed female character.
Scribblenauts Unlimited will also explore the origins of Maxwell's magical notebook, putting a story spin on an otherwise plot-less game, and it will debut in glorious HD on the Wii U as well as on the 3DS. It will be compatible both with the GamePad and classic Wii Remote. Stay tuned, 'cause it's likely we'll hear more on Scribblenauts Unlimited during Nintendo's 3DS showcase event tomorrow evening.

Funny thing about the 3DS demo stations at this year's and last year's E3: they were mobile. And I don't mean they were attached to rolling podiums. Nintendo hired a bunch of girls to walk around the floor with 3DS units fast...
