One of the surprises of the Microsoft press conference was the announcement of Matter, a Kinect title that's being developed in collaboration with film director Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean). It's a sleek, sci-fi-looking game which at first glance gives me the impression that it may be a puzzle platformer.
Verbinski was last linked with videogames with his failed attempt to make a Bioshock movie. Let's hope this project pans out a little better.
