E3: Microsoft announces Gore Verbinski title Matter photo

One of the surprises of the Microsoft press conference was the announcement of Matter, a Kinect title that's being developed in collaboration with film director Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean). Verbinski was last linked with videogames with his failed attempt to make a Bioshock movie. Let's hope this project pans out a little better.

The first trailer for the Need for Speed movie is here

Oh you didn't forget, did you? There's going to be a Need for Speed movie, and it's going to star Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul. The first trailer for the movie has plenty of cliché going for it, you know, the same kind of stuff you've seen from movies about racing cars before.
