At least for the time being -- which, admittedly hasn't been very long -- the emphasis on the PlayStation Vita's software library seems to heavily favor games that were successful, beefy favorites on PlayStation 3. Y'know -- console-centric games.
Nothing inherently wrong with that, if you ask me. (Not my preference either, though.) Out of all of the franchises being brought to Vita, LittleBigPlanet looks the most appealing to me. Perhaps its the amount of content the game is sure to have, perhaps it's the upbeat music in this trailer.
I've been at this for more than 12 hours, so really, it could be anything by now.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

That rear touch to activate platforms... I haven't tried it, but that seems inaccurate. Let's hope that doesn't become a fad in tricky platform sections.
There was one little section that got my REALLY excited about this game, and thats the part where you saw someone playing a touch shmup, that kinda looks like a night time highway. But, if thats to imply I can make and play little Cave-esque touch shmups on that thing, that is VERY exciting news!
I don't know that many people really appreciate them, but I most certainly love touch shmups (Infinity Gene, Cave's Espgaluda II and Do DonPachi, all on iOS) and might be interested in tinkering with that sort of tech!
Wow. Couple LBS create mode with all of the control options on the Vita and you're gonna get a TON of cool ways to use this stuff.
Kind of like how the modding community is basically doing all the innovation for the Kinect, this could end up really bringing some interesting ideas to the table for developers.
And I'm serious about no need for an app store or anything like that...I will have an awesome story to play, along with TONS of mini games to play/create in LBP :)
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Looks so amazingly awesome! Can't wait to take my adorable and bad ass PS3 costumes on the go :)
