See I've never really looked at the Elderscrolls games as being story driven. Is there a story? yeah. Does it unfold while you're playing? sure.
But I play it for the experience of running around in an open fantasy world doing what I want (usually stealing books), and Elderscrolls is pretty much the only game now that fulfills the "blank slate character in an open world fantasy universe".
Games with a modern setting (GTA, Modern Warfare, Battlefield, etc) are already at the forefront of the industry, having variety isn't a bad thing.
Either way, on 11-11-11, I am going to seriously enjoy running around as a Wood Elf monk that steals books and fights with his fists.

Sounds cool. I've always been a bit unimpressed with the combat in the Elder Scrolls series (always felt rigid and awkward) but this sounds like an improvement.

I already put in to take 11/11/11 off from my work because of this game. This is the only time I've ever done that in all of ever. Amazing... This game has me stoked. Utterly stoked.
I've never played Morrowind or Oblivion, but damn, I better enjoy the shit out of Fallout New Vegas before I can't go back to it after playing this.
