Insomniac has revealed that its first multiplatform title is a cooperative sci-fi adventure called Overstrike.

Published by Electronic Arts, Overstrike will let four-players step into the role of one of the elite agents of the Overstrike 9. Their goal? Stop a global terrorist group from wiping out mankind. Insomniac will be bringing its skill for creating unique weaponry to the table, with "an arsenal of fringe-tech gadgets."

We hope to hear more details about Overstrike, which is in development for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, later this week.

Oh you didn't forget, did you? There's going to be a Need for Speed movie, and it's going to star Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul.
