Also, the boss fight shot: He is one cocky sumbitch.
If Nintendo can tap into the same creative energy that they found with Twilight Princess and make everything work well together, we are in for one HELL of a treat.
Very nice preview, Chad. Short and sweet. :)
"This is what you would expect from a Zelda game"
"The items are very similar to past Zelda games"
"As for the puzzles, they were classic Zelda"
So aside from the bird stuff it's the same as every other Zelda game. Gotcha.
Pass.
How about you keep your false assumptions to yourself, and get some actual standards? Is it really such a crime for me to ask for more from a product?
I think Reggie already said it doesn't upscale Wii games, check his interview at Gametrailers.

You can call me a moron if you want, I prefer to think of it as just being harder to impress. I'll need to see the game in action for myself before buying into it, a few lines of text and screenshots is not enough for me. I tend to call this 'having standards'.
Are the bird races really that fun? or are they annoying like the buzzard rides in Super Mario Galaxy 2? Are they mandatory?
Thanks for the preview, wish I could try it out, I'm really, really looking forward to seeing how well the swordplay is with wii motion plus.... Red Steel II was my fave wii game, so I'm betting this will be better, no doubt..
The only other thing that concerns me is the difficulty. I'm definitely not of the party that thinks zelda games have gotten "too easY" if anything, they've gotten to meticulous and difficult. Don't get me wrong, I love zelda games, but I've lost interest in some of the recent titles because of having to spend too much time in one area.... it just gets to be a chore and no longer fun when you get stuck in the same area for a while. I've played twilight princess several times and then put it down when something else sparked my attention. IMHO the SNES zelda game was the best, it was straight forward and you did'nt have to spend hours in one area or have to lead another character around with a stylus. I want more of a focus on combat, I'm afraid that if the puzzles get too meticulous, I'll end up never finishing this one, like so many of the other recent zelda games.....I've got some major ADHD that makes it hard to play these games...
If it really bothers you so much then start your own website where only your opinion is allowed to be posted
I'm just saying that if anyone here is a fanboy it's certainly not me.
AWESOME.
There are plenty of good reasons to rip Niintendo a new one, like their refusal to date to commit to a relevant online infrastructure, their sub par inferfaces, their unwillingness to go the distance to turn their systems into a unified platform/experience when they could if they gave a damn, etc. But gutter sniping Nintendo stories all day makes you look like a twat. And get yourself an avatar. You may be capable of thought, and should distinguish yourself from the rifraf that comes in here to bitch about Jim's review scores.
Are you really starting fights in zelda articles?
The new zelda info doesn't seem to interest you thats cool, others want to taunt you? Then ignore them!
Also once the game comes out you should try it, cause god knows every first person shooter looks like the same damn thing but that doesn't stop me from giving it a chance.
Dude's got a perfect right to be cocky.
