I didn't like the multi-player of Halo Reach but this mode and the other online stuff looks really fun there
Actually, Spartan-Ops is set too be released in 'seasons' comparable to TV shows. Only the first of these seasons has been confirmed as free. Also, it will probably be somewhat more spaced out than weekly; Frank O'Connor has stated that it will be spanned out over ' Months rather than weeks ' (Paraphrased. Despite these things, though, I am still very optimistic about the idea and hope as a Halo fanboy that it works out ok.

While Reach was poor in quality, it still brought some cool things into play. I just hope Halo 4 plays with these things well.

I hated all the Halos except for CE, and Reach was a breathe of fresh air. Here's hoping that Halo 4 is even better.

Well I say poor in quality because they removed several weapons and added several that operated nearly identically to what they replaced. So they wasted valuable time since the weapons they added suck to use in any game mode. And there is no SMG.

I don't know why they would remove the Hornet and then add in homing fuel rods for the Banshee if the Falcon has no pilot operated weaponry and no homing anything. Halo:Reach was full of fails but I still play it to keep me strong for when Halo 4 comes out. Plus jetpacks are always cool.

Yeah I prefered the weapons in Reach. Especially the concussion rifle because you could do some nifty jump tricks with it, and the falcon was fun for betraying your teammates by hovering over water =)
I already know I'm going to pre-order this. I just need to trade-in some games on Amazon to build up some credit for the Limited Edition. Everything about it looks great. Definitely looking forward to November.
@Glitchmaster8: In what way is the needle rifle worse than the carbine? If anything, it's better. Carbine wasn't a guaranteed 3-shot kill to shieldless enemies. Also, the DMR kills in 5 shots, where the BR required 12. Lastly, if you're using the sentinel beam/ focus rifle at any point in either game, you are an idiot.
@Squidoris: The needle rifle is terrible for removing shields which is half the battle and was more accurate especially for headshots. The DMR is overpowered and unrealistic, the BR fired more bullets at a time which allowed you to hit with better general accuracy and made it an actual mid-ranged weapon while the DMR is better than most weapons at close range which is not the point of a marksman rifle. Clearly you have never used a Sentinel Beam which destroys shields and drains health at a really fast rate plus it has perfect accuracy at all distances. Also, the Focus Rifle combined both the Sentinel Beam and the Particle Beam Rifle also known as the Covenant sniper which was better than the human sniper in almost every way. So the Focus Rifle is garbage and removed 2 of the best and forgotten weapons in Halo.
Also, a Needle Shotgun would be a much better use of time than a Needle Rifle since they already had the Carbine and the Covenant have no shotgun without the Mauler from the Brutes.
@Cool8t: Using a vehicle to betray teammates is not a good excuse for removing one of the best vehicles in the series and the only thing that could combat the Banshee in the air. The Concussion Rifle does less damage by principle since it relies on its blast force and not damage to kill. The Brute Shot does more damage and had a stronger melee making it far superior for anything that isn't blast jumping.
Also, a Needle Shotgun would be a much better use of time than a Needle Rifle since they already had the Carbine and the Covenant have no shotgun without the Mauler from the Brutes.
