Still, it's Monolith, so it'll probably be a well-balanced, fun TF2 ripoff, and the aesthetic is pretty fresh and interesting. I can get behind that.

E3: Gotham City Impostors footage is so ... weird
You know, when we first heard about Gotham City Impostors, a first-person shooter in the Batman universe, I found it to be incredibly bizarre. Nothing, not even Nick's preview, could have prepared me for this debut trailer and our first honest-to-goodness look at the game. Not to say it couldn't be enjoyable, because there's always that chance, but man. This game is weird -- uncomfortably so, at times. Best of luck, Monolith. Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Kind of looks another cartoony class-based shooter a la Team Fortress 2. Those seem to be in style this E3.
Still, it's Monolith, so it'll probably be a well-balanced, fun TF2 ripoff, and the aesthetic is pretty fresh and interesting. I can get behind that. It looks pretty standard ego shooter like, gameplaywise I mean. So I don't get, why there should be a problem with it. I like the Fight Club aspect, how the characters all have normal everyday lives, then dress up in comic book outfits to kill each other at night. That would be a great concept even without a specific license. The great thing about games like this is that you know it's either going to suck-ass or be awesome. No middle-ground. This really reminds me of a time in the comics where Penguin created a small army of knock-off villains...all whom were pretty much butchered by the real baddies and the Rogues. Now THAT could be a fun feature ;) almost as flexible; a Phidian goddess is not more perfect in a certain buy altace 9:30 PM on 05.17.2013 New Sonic, EA Vs.
