Animal Crossing! Go swimming! Dress up as Link! Walk around! Clean a house! All this and more in the latest Animal Crossing 3DS teaser straight out of Nintendo's press conference from this morning! Looks like more of the same, but then again, I haven't actually playedany Animal Crossing before.

Meet the rest of the team
I love animal crossing. I'm downloading the trailer on my 3DS right now, along with Snake Eater, Mario and Zelda. Can't wait for these games to actually be out.
Honestly, I don't own a 3ds, but I kinda want one. I have already lost 2 years of my life to the first 2 instalments of AC, granted I don't wanna end up like that again, I am inclined to.
The new design for the humans looks so weird, it's just off. I've probably worn out any novelty AC has left when I played the gcn game to death but I'll be happy to get this game when it comes out.
Wow, could that trailer have made the game look any more boring? I like the new clothing customization options, but other than that, it really does look like more of the same.
Don't forget hoarding shit you find, getting clothing out of the trash, and buying four sheets of paper for 1/5th the cost of getting your roof painted. Ah, Animal Crossing, how many MONTHS of my life have you stolen?
Were the rumors about being able to do mayoral things in this version ever confirmed or denied? Because if not, it'd be a shame to just have randomly placed lampposts and benches cluttering up your town when you want to do a complete overhaul.
That being said, seeing as City Folk was just an HD Wild World, excited for all the new features (and music!) coming with this one. Animal Crossing forever and always.
I demand details, Nintendo!
The GC version is/was my favorite. Never played WW much, but City Folks blew chunks imo compared to the Gamecube version.
This one looks good, so I hope in this case that judging a book by its cover doesn't let me down.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I was disappointed when I didn't see them demo this onstage
I can swim!

(Hint: Furry time in Sonic '06)
I also agree with Gee-Man...one more year of logging on each day and checking out the town :)
Amirite?
