E3: Four EA Sports games with Kinect support in next year photo

Get ready to get in the game with EA Sports.

At Microsoft's E3 press briefing this morning, EA Sports president Peter Moore came out on stage and announced that the sports mega-publisher will be augmenting some of its biggest upcoming games with Kinect support. Four games launching in the next 12 months will feature Kinect integration: Madden NFL 12, FIFA 12, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13, and an as-yet-unannounced title. (My money -- and Max Scoville's -- is on a new Fight Night game.)

As for the functionality that Kinect might offer, Moore hinted at being able to call audibles in Madden with your voice, and swinging a golf club in Tiger Woods. That could be fun... right?

This might not be that bad. Nothing exciting either, though. Wonder if you can draw the other team off-sides by yelling "Hike Hike HIKE Hike!" like Tom Brady does?

I am actually pissed that PGA Tour: The Masters didn't have Kinect support. Golf games will always be one of those few titles that need motion controls.

@pokota That would be kinda cool, and I've actually become more interested in the support Kinect could bring to traditionally controlled games rather than Kinect-controlled games.

The ME3 voice commands and now this could give Kinect a nice little niche. Though that is tough to see with it being $150 and all.

Wii Error Code 51331 means that there is a problem with wireless security. Make sure your routers WEP key matches the WEP Key you entered in the Wii. forfait mobile illimite forfait bloque forfait illimite forfait sans engagement forfait sms illimite
