So, they give some more details about games they had already shown us before, make zero new announcements and give zero news for games in development like Animal Crossing and Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright, and have to be asked to confirm the release of a game like this? Step it up, Nintendo.
Animal crossing is coming, just not 2012, which is why it wasn't shown off. I don't know why people are spazzing out about animal crossing

it has been 2 years since it was announced. Mario Tennis was announced and released within 7 months. SM3dL around a year. NSMB2 half a year.
There is no excuse to hold it back any longer, as Japan will be getting it this year. But instead, we get 2 NSM games.

I wished that they released the fire emblem before this one. But it is good to hear that this one is getting released. I wonder if the bundle is 3DS bundle with Fire Emblem is coming over. I hope more info about some third party games.
now all nintendo has to do is get Namco to localize Project X Zone and the 3DS is officially gotten back on track.
Still wish there was more word on Virtue's Last Reward, Bravely Default, and especially Animal Crossing 3DS...

Yeah I know, I'm just worried because close to nothing about it has been mentioned about it in months, hopefully we hear more about it soon.

Kind of annoying how they didn't mention this or Animal Crossing yet they made time for Threediots & some trailers we had already seen.

It's kind of sad they couldn't throw in a quick announcement in their broadcast consisting entirely of games we'd already seen. Especially given that they didn't even go for the full hour, they started 10 minutes late.
I can't understand why they didn't show it at their e3 presentation at all? At least it would be one of their best games to present....
Nintendo's approach to how they promote their games is utterly baffling. That said, still very pleased with this news.
