E3: Devil Survivor 2 will hit the DS in 2012

10:10 AM on 06.07.2011 // Maurice Tan

After some earler Famitsu rumblings, Atlus has now announced that Devil Survivor 2, set in the Shin Megami Tensei universe, will hit the Nintendo DS next year. Dale enjoyed the first Devil Survivor, so I bet he will love this sequel. And yes it's being developed for the DS, not the 3DS.

The strategy role-playing game will be set around a group of high school students (of course), who discover a website that shows viewers how they will die. You'll recruit members to your merry band, and nurture relationships with them. The stronger the relationship, the more effective they will be in battle. Oh, and you can summon demons to aid you in battle, but I think that was a given for this series at this point.
