Could somebody please call Atlus and tell them that all the niche genres they support haven't been contemporary or viable for years now? I'm just saying that someone needs to tell them that they've actually been out of business since the start of this generation because no one could profit off the kinds of games they publish. EA and Activision are worried that the continued perpetuation of the myth that Atlus is still in business could hurt gaming as a whole, and that gamers will refuse to accept that Atlus is no more real than the boogieman or Santa Claus.

i love atlus usa and i admit i am harder on them because they have a history of putting out the most atrocious western titles
Zeno Clash is a very strange world I'd absolutely love to explore more.

I got this email this mornin' and I was both shocked and ecstatic. Zeno Clash has some of the crazy art direction I have seen in a game.

But, isn't the fact that Atlus publishes less mainstream games that cater to niches the reason WHY they continue to make money? I mean they have had plenty of big financial successes with that business model. See Demons Souls, Catherine, Shine Megami Tensei, Disgaea, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Metal Slug XX, and Kanka Bancho. Now that list goes on to include Zeno Clash, a game that I would argue is one of the most beloved indie titles released. So, it seems that they are going forward as normal and you are just butt-hurt that there is no announcement of a more Japanese flavored game. Oh, and as a final remark. Ace Team isn't Western, it's a Chilean studio.

Looks like a prequel, which isn't what I would have liked given how the first ended, but fleshing out more of that insane world wouldn't hurt.

I'm more excited for this than anything I've seen so far. Except maybe Dead Space 3, as apprehensive as I am about the campaign being structured around co-op and shooting humans(?!) with guns loaded with over a thousand bullets.

(Excuse me for not knowing the names) Ghat and his sister didn't know/remember that shirtless purple guy until the events of the first game. And she said "You're the only real brother I have left", implying either that something happened to all the rest of Father-Mother's children, or she no longer considers them her siblings.
