Those rumors about the Assassin's Creed game for PlayStation Vita have indeed panned out. During Sony's press conference, we were shown Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, which is set in 18th-century New Orleans; it's headed for the Sony handheld on October 30 in North America.
That same day will also include the launch of a Crystal White Vita bundle that comes with Liberation as a pack-in. As an owner of the limited-edition white Star Wars PSP, let me just say it: f**k yes! Assassin's Creed III will also be offered in a bundle, although this time with a PlayStation 3. Try to contain yourself.
Those of you who purchase both games for their respective Sony system are going to get exclusive downloadable content, including: an "in-game version of Connor's tomahawk, an exclusive character skin, a multiplayer character, and a complete upgrade of all ammunition pouches."
