This isn't going to happen, but I'm hoping for a 2D game with graphics in the vein of Vanillaware games (with Bioshock sensibilities, of course) and gameplay that's a cross between point and click character interactions/puzzles in some parts, and Cave Story-esque platforming/shooting in others.

History has shown that it can change itself. Remember when Nintendo was all casual for most of its press conference and everyone hated it? yeah, well now look at them. The opposite happened to Microsoft.
But either way, this Bioshock title alone is enough to make me want a Vita.

I want a psvita but I bought the ds and psp and both were barely used. The psp got me though some tough times camping but that was about it. I have a feeling if I get one I won't use it
@stealth your an idiot to believe that what happened in one generation will be the exact same in the next. That being said both are going to sell extremely well.

i never would've believed it before they announced the price, but i think you're right... hopefully they don't fuck it up.
i know lots of people don't want "ps3 games on the go," and yea, fine, that's not ALL i want, but... it will be super badass to actually have a twin stick handheld capable of playing the same kinds of games I play at home. i mean, i've never played an fps or 3ps properly on a handheld... even God of War suffered on the psp controls (imo). that's what has me most excited. do i want a bunch of console ports? well... some, yea. but i really just want to be able to play games on the go with the same control scheme i use at home when it's appropriate.

Haven't owned a handheld since Gameboy many moons ago and have never really desired one (I have an iPhone but that's different). But the device and content have piqued my curiosity. I guess I'll be keeping an eye out on how these games turns out.
This, Uncharted and SFxTekken have me sold on PSVita. Can hardly wait to get my hands on one.

I can't tell you how happy I was when they announced this! I have been wanting a Bioshock for the PSP for a while now, but I knew it wouldn't ever come due to the PSP's lack of power and well...PSP just couldn't do BioShock justice! So glad to know one is coming out for the PSV!

Very Excited about this, I will certainly be getting a Vita day one if I can (that is if I'm in the country for it). I hope it comes bundled with uncharted, if it doesn't though, I'll still grab it, would be a nice bonus. Maybe the 3G version should get a bundle like that.

@turbophoenix that is a fantastic idea if they go with rapture. I would love to see it start before the fall and progress into the fall, so perhaps normal people and slowly more and more splicers and such. I am in the middle of bioshock 2 right now and loving it!
The Vita looks awesome, but it's too big. There's no way it'll comfortably fit in my pocket, so even though it offers dual analogs, I doubt I'll be playing it nearly as much as my 3DS because it isn't really portable. I'm hoping that if I wait it out they'll make a PSV mini of some sorts, closer to the size of the GO.
