Yesterday, Haley posted the first Soul Calibur Legends trailer and he wasn't too impressed with. I must say I agree with him in terms of the graphics: the games textures look pretty washed out and I think the Wii is capable of better then this (I'm pretty sure even Soul Calibur II on the game GameCube looked better). I can't say anything about the controles yet.

On the other hand, the first trailer of Soul Calibur IV was released today and this one looks really good. I was already hyped by the scans with all the pretty pictures that were released before, but to watch the boo ... game fluid and in motion is really impressive. There is just a bit too much lighting around the models but I think that's what they call "next-gen" these days.

Not good enough. At 1:10 you can clearly see the weapon magically going through the floor. That's fine on the Dreamcast but we're talking 1998/9, nearly 10 years on and you'd expect higher standards of animation.

DO WANT!! And Oolong, I'm sure they have time to fix things like that before it comes out.

I love the soul Caliber series, and this one doesn't seem to disappoint! The graphics are the outstanding part though, since all SC games have the same general gameplay feature: Wicked awesome.

Does this have a chance of coming out for the Wii because I am not interested in Soul Calibur Legends at all.

Is is just me, or does Sigfried's battle cry near the end sound just like Link's?

@TomRemixed

Probably not. You know, ever since the GC version of SCII sold the most units thanks to Link, they had to thank them somehow.

SC Legends... vomit.

Holy shit, who was that fucker with the lance and shortsword? He's officially the first character I'll master in SCIV. Sorry, Mitsurugi, our ancient alliance has just come to an end. Don't worry, Kilik, I'll still find time for you.
