This is why I love plus. Sure mp is better on 360, but I feel happier with plus due to the constant free and discounted content. Grabbing me some Infamous 2, Warhammer, Saints 2 and All 4 one. Hard Corps and Guardians too, since they were on my Xbox.
Playstation Plus has always been good to me, seeing as how I love old school PSone classics. This is even better.
Really not a bad deal at all, but I question this part: "so for about $5/month you are basically paying for a very tiny, very limited version of Netflix."
I don't think that part was really very clear.. I understand, and expect, them to cycle through games, so they may not always be availibe forever, but once they're gone can you not play them any more? Like you lose the license to them or whatever? Cause while it makes sense (I guess) its also kind of lame at the same time if they did it that way, since I doubt most people will be able to fully take advantage of it (what with games being longer then movies).
I guess what I'm asking is: Is it really just a "rental" service, or are they being nice and actually giving you these games for as long as your a PS+ memeber and they support them? (which I expect them to do at least till the next console is released) Cause I really felt like they were saying "We're starting a better free gift program for those who sub with us. These games are yours now."

Shit... I got three games I can trade in now because I can get a free download of them now.

@Booming: Well for the most part free games you get from plus only expire when your plus sub does. There are a few exceptions, but you have to look at the game info on your ps3 to see if it has an expiration date. Recently I got awesomenauts and trine 2 with no expiration date. Far Cry 2 and something else too...
Playstation Plus has recently done a great job of justifying its existence. That said, Just Cause 2 and inFamous 2 were just on super-sale to PS Plus customers a week ago, so having them on here instead of other things is kind of a dick move.

@ BomberJacket. Yea, I just bought Just Cause 2 yesterday because of the PSN sale. However, I've been playing that demo for years so they've more than earned my money. Also, I have 5 of these titles... all great games. Quality.
North Americans only though. I have PS+ but as a filthy European barbarian all I get is Awesomenauts...
Wow, just 3 of those games makes up the PS Plus cost. I am glad I have PS Plus, the truth is that you receive more than what you paid for the subscription. Nice one Sony.
I just realized the was the new virtua fighter 5 online. God damn yesssss. FNF better be awesome on ps3 this week.
Just went out and bought a year sub for the Plus. All of these games are still showing purchase only for me. Is there a certain time all of this will go in effect or am I not looking in the right place?
